    Morning everyone

    CQ, Happy Birthday, Hun.

Well, today I have to rush off to Bolton to pick my bike up, then hide it, because Santa is bringing it, isn't he :D Then I have to do 2 mystery shops this afternoon, which mean a double visit to each location. Have a few bits to pick up in town too.

Need to sort ebay out. I've signed up for fees to be taken out of my paypal account, but that's twice they haven't gone. Dunno what's happening there cos there's cash in the paypal account and the CC is active

Anyway, lunch will be whatever, where-ever and tea will be HM turkey and veg pie with chips or mash and veggies. The turkey leg is defrosting and I'll tackle it later. Right now, must dash.

Have a good day one and all. :j

Now does anyone know how I wrap a Fiat Tipo for my daughter for christmas :D

    Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy :D:D

You buy a little matchbox type toy car, slip the key to the FT into the box. Wrap that up all beautiful.

(Meanwhile, park the FT around the corner, or friends house/drive out of sight).

Give her the wrapped toy car with the hidden key in it to her on Christmas morning ... plus a map/directions to the *real thing* :D

    Simple :D:D:D

(Can you adopt me, please? For my 18th, I got a clothes horse .. for my 21st ... some socks ... when I passed my driving test? ... a travel first aid kit!)

Morning all and happy birthday CQ!!!!

Today has not started well - I overslept (not seriously, just enough to make it quite crucial that everything ran smoothly between getting up and going to work) and when I got out of the shower and went to my wardrobe, I found that my favourite pink suit - which has just come back from the dry cleaners and which I'd planned to wear today as I need a smart outfit for church concert this evening - has not been repaired as promised/paid for at the cleaners. Trouser hem is still trailing on the ground  so I had to find something else to wear. This made me all of five minutes late for work, which got me a snidey comment from my boss, which I REALLY don't appreciate considering all the overtime I put in for no extra money  This after the cheek she showed me yesterday by criticising the fact that I'd booked a day off in the same fortnight as I'd said I was not going to be able to put in lots of extra hours  The fact is, even this week when I'm really busy outside of work, I'll still be putting in at least 40 hours rather than the 37 I'm paid to do! 3 extra hours is acceptable as a norm, I think, or at least it would be if it wasn't seen as inadequate by my flippin' workaholic boss!!!!!!

Of course all this means that I am still planning to hand in my notice early in the New Year. I like the other people I work with, and the work is quite interesting, and the money is - well - it would be good if it wasn't for the hours, and having to put up with my boss.

I got SOME of last night's To Do list out of the way, but I still have to place my Christmas food and booze order with Asda - must do it a.s.a.p. or I won't be able to get a delivery slot - and I didn't exactly get much music practice done, which I hope won't cause too much of a problem at this evening's concert. My chilli sausage casserole was delicious and there's a portion in my bag for lunch.

Won't get anything OS done today beyond the essentials, thanks to church concert, and I have so much to do at home at the moment that I'm considering ditching the £7 standing-room ticket I have for the Royal Opera House tomorrow evening, even though I really want to see the show!

Roll on Christmas, or should I say roll on the 27th when I will be taking off to my mum's for a few days and getting plenty of free time to plot my escape from my job!
