Hello everyone! ((((((((HUGS))))))) to all who are ill or unhappy today.
Had lovely lunch at DD's yesterday and heard the happy news that she and DSIL are expecting their first baby! It's due at end of July.
Just thought - if Math's children are Mathlets, then that makes this baby a Leaflet.....!
DH and I are going to visit MIL on Wedsnesday. Apart from that. we will be mostly sorting out the little front bedroom so there's somewhere for DS to sleep while his bedrooms being replastered. Haven;t actually arranged that yet, but planning to do so soon!
P-P - i hope you enjoy the afternoon and that the music isn't too loud in there! Also that you manage to get more rest tonight.
Queenie - :grouphug: I hope you feel better tomorrow if not before!

We were up late this morning, then OH decided to have one of his dizzy spells so it was back to bed for him until it passed off...... we have just had granary loaf toasted with some Ardennes Pate, and fresh fruit.
There is enough of our pork loin for another roast dinner, so thats sliced and in the freezer, also cut up the rest of the bacon joint for supper tonight with pork pie and tomato and celery salad and raspberry trifle to follow.
Feeling rather tired today so taking it easy...........

Afternoon all,
Didn't surface till after 10am this morning as felt shattered. Had a really lovely day yesturday and was quite emotional last night probably due to one too many, its been a difficult year with one thing and another mainly due to my health, but were still here battleing on and more importantly as my O/H says " all together & in one piece "
Nothing much planned today except keep warm ( its really cold here today) eat, play games, and maybe a bit of telly later.
Breakfast was trifle
lunch was beef plate salad
dinner turkey curry
Have a lovely boxing day and take care

Afternoon all
I hope that those of you who haven't been feeling too great are turning a corner now.
Christmas Day was just as predictable as ever. OH and I were at my parents' house, joined by my grandpa (mum's dad) and grandma (dad's mum). I'm still with my parents, but OH set off at 6am to get to work for 8.30am. We were all thoroughly stuffed and my mum has served up leftovers for lunch - with grandma and grandpa round again. My mum and grandpa have been watching the racing, with my mum winning a bit of cash on a race.
I've left my parents and grandparents in the sitting room while I use their computer. My gran is losing her memory, which is really getting to me. It's quite upsetting. She kept on getting money out of her handbag to give me as a Christmas present yesterday because she'd forgotten that she'd given me money previously. This afternoon we've had the same conversation time and time again with grandma, hence why I've escaped to the sanctuary that is MSE!
I'm going back home tomorrow, probably by train unless I can persuade my parents to drive me back.Obviously, walking back would be more beneficial as I can feel my jeans trying to break under the weight of Christmas lunch and leftovers!
Take care all.

It's Ok to be emotional or "emotional" now and again - it does you good!
We don't have turkey in our house, so I'm quite envious of those who have loads of turkey left. The curry option sounds good to me.
I am currentley enjoying a pint of Guinness and cider. A raid on the fridge soon after is a racing certainty.
Enjoy the rest of Boxing Day, and pleae accept my very best wishes for 2006.
