Oh, I have just had my Lidl newsletter and this week they are selling sealant strip (£1.49 for 5m), draught excluder (£3.99), wind up LED torch (£3.99) and an energy monitor (£6.99)We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

Afternoon all
My heating is on, but I do have an excuse, DGD & DGS are staying until tomorrow, & DGD is crawling & can only crawl on bare legs.
Not a good day at work I produced 1000 booklets for someone & they all have an extra page in, it's been pointed out to me that I need to be more careful, as the page had info on it the same as the rest of the pages I feel thats a bit unfair. I keep telling people I don't proof read, I don't have time. The first copy of the booklets was approved by the originator, she didn't spot the extra page. Oh well, never mind, it's the weekend now.
Have a good evening.
Hugs Hester

Evening all
Haven't managed to get on here until now or caught up with the thread from yesterday, so very big hugs to those who need one.
Have been to Asda this morning and then to the allotment.. Freezing here as well. Have actually written my first menu plan so hopefully it will make life much easier. Notice it's all cold weather food:D . Shepherds pie with sweet potatoe and potatoe mash and kale for tea.
Have carried on de-cluttering my spare room as well today. Ds has been in trouble at school recently, behaving in a very silly way and having to have time out. We had this at the start of year 2 as well. Will have a talk with him this weekend.
Have a good evening all.

evening all,
Not a bad day at work, finished the month end accounts, till next month anyway  .
Went up to my mums to see nephew, who's birthday it is today, he was meant to be going to mums for tea, but has run off again, he has been out for two nights now. I hope he has found somewhere warm to sleep.
Just had dinner, tacos, which were really nice and sooo easy to cook, going to veg in front ot the tv now, and have a glass or two later
Hugs to Marie and Ulick, pen pin, lyndseyann, candy, smoky and anyone else in need.
Have good evenings all xx0 -
Evening Everyone
Its a little comforting that we are not the only ones that are suffering from the recent cold weather.I am sorely tempted to fling on the CH but I will be strong and the kids are quite happy wrapped up in dressing gowns and throws watching tv.Luckily I crocheted a few during the summer so they are nice and cosy
Had to make some Blackberry Jam today as yesterdays Asda Delivery needed more freezer space than I had so the blackberries had to come out
Like many of the others I'm suffering from a cold so not much else has been done domestically as I've been snugged up on the sofa with my crocheting most of the day.

Hi everyone  I am getting later every day,
Have been running around like a headless chicken all day;)
Took OH to the hospital again this morning, we had to be there for 9:00, through all the morning traffic, it was'nt as bad as we thought, must have just hit the lull before the main rush into the city. We were early and the Doctor called him in straight away, as he wanted to get an early start.
After that we went to the exchange to get some euros, then took Jo's over to her,she had a friend staying and we all ended up going out for lunch.
then went to Building Society, then shopping, next went over to see Mum, then home. PHEW what a day
(((Hugs))) to Smoky and DB+SIL, Beth,Marie+Ulick,Pen_Pin catznine, joannasmum's DD, lyndseyann and anyone else I have missed. I hope all the poorly's feel better soon.

Hi Pippa, He is 15 today, it is a very regular thing with him, he hates being at home, and hates being in his care home, so runs off continiously, the police usually pick him up at some point, and he often turns up here. It is a terrible worry, I just hope he is somewhere warm, thanks for asking xx0 -
Evening all.
KAAT, I got a set of the M&S value pans and they are ok...well for the money. I got the set of 3 with glass lids and a little air hole, Mum got the set of 5 with glass lids. I'm sure the 5 set were less than £20.
Redruby, your poor nephew, you and your mum must be worried sick
Joannasmum, hope DD is ok
LyndseyAnne, do be careful with your chest, if it doesn't improve by monday then go and see your doctor. If it gets any worse, visit a walk in centre....it can soon get worse. (((hugs)))
Candygirl, if the carpet fitter was on about a waste transfer licence, then he's right. Unless he is certified to remove and transport waste, then he can be fined.
Twink,,,,snow  how is Pixie, not heard from her for a while..hope the kids are all ok ans DGS has not had too many hypos. Is her OH settling into his new job?
Pippa, not long till your holiday.
AnnieStar, have you found those shoes? I'll have to have a look on YouTube for some L42 now
Busy day at work today...saw my favourite ice skating customer :swoon:
He's enough to brighten any day. Just finished tea, cheat night tonight, I come home from work via the chippy and they had halibut on the board tonigh
Well, I'll make us a cup of tea and then ring MIL for a full update on FIL.
Catch up later....hugs to all.
