    Afternoon peeps

I`ve just had a lovely hot cuppa and i think that i shall have another shortly. I forgot to fill the flask i usually use when i`m home alone all day so the kettle has been boiled with the smallest mount of water possible in.

I walked around the park this morning for an hour and a half looking for daft doggies collar and tag but could not find it anywhere :( thats another tenner gone for a replacement, she`s wearing a spare at the moment but she needs the choker type chain collar or she goes where she likes and i have to follow :o There is an old one which belonged to one of our last houndies somewhere but i`m sure that it will be too big for her, i wonder if i can remove any links from the chain to make it smaller

I`ve not done a great deal today at all, the usual kitcheny bits and washing but i`ve just had a nap on the sofa to make me feel human again after last nights disturbed sleep so i need to crack on with a few things now or i shall regret it later.

The huge courgette has now neen picked and is sitting one the kitchen windowsill waiting to be joined by the other veg for tea later, i have some breadcrumbs in the freezer too so i shall add them in to make it a substantial meal.

I also need to find out what to do with oranges before i make marmalade with them. I like marmalade with peel in but i`m not sure what to do with the oranges at all and i`ve never had jam with bits of pith in :o

Great news about the campervan Lyndsayann :j hope that you feel better soon.

    Catch up later guys.

I asked for some help the other day with the ingredients for ginger muffins. Got an instant response, with a link.

Made a gingergread traybake this afternoon - just waiting for it to cool before I smother it in lemon icing. And as I have visitors coming tomorrow, I made some of the infamous Hob Nobs. I don't eat biscuits generally, but my, word these are fantastic :D

I took photos of the results - they're on my homepage if anyone cares to look.

So hoorah for MSE - thank you all :T

Back from the Dr's. The health visitor managed to f**k up J's injection (sorry for swearing). So my poor little girl has a very sore arm. To add insult to injury shes just phoned as I was getting home to find out if she is ok and managed to get her name wrong. I am not a happy mummy, I could have done it better myself. We are having pizza for tea so hopefully that will cheer up my little princess.

We wanted to restore one as well,it just so happens that this one has come along, ready to go away in,but it is old one,so once we have gone away in half term, and untill probably next year (although, hubby has said it would be nice to go away sometime over chrismas/new year!) then we can properly make it our own...and i get to make my own curtains and stuff :T well,i can try :D Thank you for the luck :) and i hope things go good your way,and you get one soon xx

Thank you redruby, candy and sunnyday for the get well wishes,i hadnt heard of pleurasy before redruby, but if it isnt cleared up,i will go to the doctors :o .

Hope you all have a good evening everyone, speak to you soon xx

Anniestar - The big daft one is a girlie doggie and she is a cross between a german shepherd, english mastiff and a great dane
She is about 20 months old now and is getting rather on the large side but is very clumsy :D she looks far too big to act like the overgrown puppy that she is but she has us in stitches. We adopted her 14 months ago.

The little oldie is a little old man who was very badly abused, he is a cross between a whippet and a staffie. There is something else in there but we are not sure what it is although several people have suggested ridgeback. He is a very unusual looking litle man.
He is very tactile and wants constant reassurance and fuss. He is lovely and unlike the younger hound is very clever :D he has been with us for around 2 and a half years.

They are both from the same rescue centre which we visit every now and again. I`ll eventually post some pics of them.

Hope that you find the elusive shoes! :D

    Afternoon all

I haven't posted for a couple of days, what with one thing and another. There hasn't been much OS'ing going on at home either, but I need to try not to let things fall by the wayside, so have been looking through the OS board this afternoon.

The house has had a dust blitz today, as it was building up, and the girls were enjoying leaving messages in some bits :o I struggle to dust at certain levels but DDs 'clean me' message had me reaching for the cloth :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm lacking in energy today, and it feels like a good day to snuggle under the duvet with a HWB and a slab of chocolate :) I haven't watched the Jamie Oliver DVDs that came with the sun recently, so I may watch those once dinner is out the way.

Tonight we're having turkey curry with rice and naan [and steak pie for DD1].

    ((((HUGS)))) to all in need.

    Pipkin xxxx
