Thanks, I did see that but wasn't sure if they were acceptable tracking for eBay/Paypal.

    Cheers!
  • Yes they are both fully tracked, and have online signature

http://www.parcelbroker.co.uk (£6.64 with free 5% discount for registering)

Who I use now and have stuck by them as they respond to mails very quick and have a phone number which I have used a couple of times and get an answer or a callback quickly (0870 number) BUT I have the landline number here: 01371 851742. They do bigger stuff like freight to europe and pallets too which is handy for me.

No affiliation but I think they deserve a mention as they are still offering overnight with DHL at £6.64...this price is Plus vat though which may affect those of us not registered, total per parcel is £7.80 inc.

£7.80 is not particularly good. They would be the most expensive out of anyone on the first page. As for the European rates, way off DPD and parcelmachine.

£7.80 is only about 20p more from most on the first page but like I said, if you're not VAT registered then it makes a big difference. I can't use DPD and claim vat back as they don't charge it. So in effect, £6.64 is the actual bottom line price I pay with Parcelbroker which is approx the going rate as far as i can tell. I just personally like the service, system and the website of parcelbroker, I haven't tried DPD but had a look and didn't really like the feel of the site!

Anyway, I see what you mean about the Euro rates though! I'll probably give ParcelMachine a whirl for my next ones!
  • ha!! ParcelMachines website looks like ParcelBrokers??

So that's three sites that have the same looking booking system, is it something they've all bought off the shelf or are they associated in any way?
  • Hey Armitage, I wanted to compare DPD with ParcelMachine but can't get DPDs website to come up...can you?

I just found Supa parcels. What do you think about their service?
  • Hi. I have also noticed that Direct Parcel Distribution are down. I hope they're not related to ParcelTree

Pica Pica I know what you mean about websites looking nice and I've found also there seems to be a lot that look very similar too.

At the moment I'm using Discount Delivery UK (www.discountdeliveryuk.co.uk). Not cheap cheap compared to some, but nice clean website and whenever I've had to e-mail them I've had a response within minutes. Early e-mails from them said Sent from a BlackBerry! I can only guess that means they take it fairly seriously if they want to know every e-mail that comes in?

They seem to be mainly using DHL which is fine with me as I've not had a problem with them.
