Cheap Parcel Delivery Thread MK3

I've gone back to using my old faithfuls U.K Courier Express
who have never let me down.
I only ever switch from them when there are cheaper offers around (just to save a few pennies) but they never seem to last long.
They have an offer on until the end of October DHL 48 hour for £6.99.
I hope I never get so old I get religious...... Ingmar Bergman0 -

Thanks. Have they got a good history? Anyone else able to vouch for them?0 -
if we did set up a company, maybe we could try the old method of paying the actual courier company. i'm sure they would appreciate this.:grouphug:

I would rather sale boats off the coast of Somalia for living than run a courier company.:rotfl:0 -

Hows your paypal claim going with PPW? Latest on them is they 100% haven't gone bust, they're trying to negotiate new rates with DHL...if thats not successful they will merge with parceltree and keep operating through them. Apparently it's all parcel2go's fault as they have connections. Who knows.
I have to offer up my latest recommendation- http://dhl.saletrack.co.uk/ - cheaper than anyone, no cut-off, set collection time!

It depends on how many you send (rates updated monthly depending on volume), but their top rate is about £5.80'ish (£6.80 inc vat). Don't register, just ring them - would be my advice.
Edit- (copied from the revised 1st post)
DHL Sale Track (+vat)
Next day (24hr) £4-6 bracket
Next day by 12pm £6.56
Next day by 10am £13.13
Northern Ireland £8.54
Off Shore Isles £9.19
Saturday AM £13.13

My claim with PPW is still awaiting a response from the seller. They have until tomorrow to respond.
If PPW haven't gone bust, then why haven't they refunded everybody?
Surely that should be the first priority if they intend setting up again.
I will personally never use PPW again (even if they have the cheapest rates) because so far, it looks like they have taken our money and done a runner.
Once bitten twice shy I'm afraid. I don't think I could trust PPW again after this latest fiasco and if they do merge with parceltree, well least said....
As for it being parcel2go's fault, If that were the case, surely parceltree would have gone too.
Whatever the reason for PPW closing down, it has nothing to do with parcel2go that PPW are refusing to refund our hard earned cash!I hope I never get so old I get religious...... Ingmar Bergman0 -

Are those prices inclusive of VAT Armitage?
Do you have to print labels and which courier do they use?
Oh and can you pay by Paypal?I hope I never get so old I get religious...... Ingmar Bergman0
