'Just adding my points on here to help others out, I am still using
www.payperparcel.co.uk and they have never let me down to date.

The plus points for me is that they are more than just a courier service, they
are re-doing my website and eBay store as they are heavily involved in
    ecommerce,
So unlike the others seems they have stability, just before
this post I was also a bit concerned on the courer side of the business
and spoke to Sean the Director of Just Applications and he has assured
me that they are all safe and they are actually exhibiting at the
    www.ecommerceexpo.co.uk 28/29 October,

Seems they are quite tightly hooked in with DHL as they push a lot of business to them via their
ecommerce automation so they have my thumbs up :D

What sort of volume do you need to use them?

Close to 100 I think. But if you're growing and your volumes are increasing, certainly worth contacting.
  • How many parcels are you sending wheresmydoshat?

payperparcel do seem to get good feedback and very little negative. As for having close links to DHL that's what PPW said but then they put their prices up £3 and the 'apparently' that was instigated by parcel2go.

I'm hoping they don't go the same way as PPWExpress...

Take it they caught you then ?

Great, Parcelcheap is down too now! I quite liked them...nice and simple. Anyone know the story with them?

I believe they were using Parcelforce who are !!!! hot when it comes to these things, no one ever lasts. There are well on the ball

very few at the moment, my ebay business has taken a back seat to another project i have been working on for a friend.

but i do like to use the same company, so finding one that ticks all the right boxes now means when it gets busy theres no rushing around trying out new options.

  • I have been a long time reader of this forum for quite few months but never registered, just came here to look for competitive parcel delivery prices and have been switching companies since the past 18-20 months that I can recall of. I have used Hometextiles, Parcelworld, Parcel*something*(run by 2 guys in Yorkshire who used to take order via telephone), MHD courier, Parceltree, PPW, Payperdrop, Payperparcel, cheapparcel and many more.

One thing i have see is that all of these companies have had inconsistant rate hikes and 90% of them are either runners or fraudsters, the remaining 10% are expensive and non-reliable.

Why isnt it possible that we as forum members can start a reliable service, rather than depend of these fraudsters. (JUST A THOUGHT -:))

    Hello DJ_factor

Sounds a great idea and I have thought of ways to do this before. We certainly would hit the 100's of parcels required a mth to get a dhl contract. However who would be boss? who would pay the bills who would do the admin and how would we share the profits or losses. Non of us know each other on here. Or live by each other either so it would be a logistical nightmare.

I do still like your thought process though its all about the volume!
