Hi, we start using PayPerParcel recently as PPW and Parceltree stop accepting booking. So I have some experience with them. If you see the courier reference number in MY SHIPMENTs, that means the parcel has been booked via DHL successfully. You can call your local DHL depot, that should be much helpful than calling them. Alternatively you can contact them bu using Conract Page on their website. Personaly I think they will response you very quickly.

yes i can totally agree as i did not recieve mail confirmation..totally forgot about track shipment on PayPerParcel and they responded within in an hr..alot quicker than most believe me::T

    parcelcheap
today i had to cancel 2 bookings and again no problem with that..

I really hope both companies stick around:

i just emailed them no phone calls
  • my test run with parcelcheap went fine, was 48 hours but i'm okay with that as i specify 1-2 working days on my listings.

will continue with them for the time being.

no wonder he has a smile on his face...
  • First post updated, bit of a rush job I'm afraid. But the gist of it all is if you've got decent volume get a courier sub account with DHL Sale Track, Freight Search or p4d Shipping Manager etc. Should be much safer and also allow you to ride out the DHL increases unscathed and may even reduce your rate.

Those who have made paypal claims against ppw, any been settled yet and in who's favour? Decisions due on ours by the end of the wee.

We started using Saletrack last week. They are cheaper than any other agent we have used. Their booking system is good and service has been excellent so far.

We've had an account with Saletrack for a while, but only started using it proper last week. So much more professional than what we were doing before, and cheaper as well.

Do you have to print of anything yourself with saletrack? Or does the driver bring the paperwork himself?

And what prices are you paying? Thanks

Yep you print labels, and an automotive manifest when the driver comes (no yellow book to fill in) which means you can make bookings right up in till collection (of which you'll have a set pick up time). Rates start at around £5.80 and go down to around £4 (based on your monthly bookings).

I have been using Pay per Parcel just recently, with no problems.

But at the end of last month I sent a parcel with PPW.
Today the buyer asked if I had sent it yet.

The tracking shows it delivered and signed for but the buyer says this did not happen.

What can I do and where do I stand?
I owe the buyer a parcel and have no courier agent to grumble to.

Phone DHL and they can look at the drivers records. Quite often what happens is it gets delivered to a neighbour but they don't put it down as the status.

    Should be sorted relatively easily.
  • Personal experience with the above firm shown on this thread has not been good - Discussed with them about sending a large volume of parcels which they said they could do via DHL for £262. I labelled all the parcels up and stacked them up waiting for DHL to turn up with labels the following day. The following morning I received an email stating the carrier was TNT and to label all the boxes with TNT paperwork - an hour later this had been done but TNT failed to collect - when notified they then tried to change the carrier to UPS which would have required me to relabel all the boxes again - all a bit fishy... so I cancelled and asked for my money back. After chasing we finally received a cheque - which subsequently bounced.

Shipment was booked through Parcel2Ship who organised Parcelforce to arrive the following day. Have also used Interlinkdirect.co.uk which is part of Parceline without issue for more boxes going to same location.

Not a great experience with Direct Parcel Delivery/Distribution - have used others recommended on this board and in general they are all fine - you will get the occasional non show, but they normal get re-booked the following day.

    Use with caution I guess
