I have no idea my self, my only observation would parcelforce accounts seem pretty rare, and not very long lasting. The other thing I would input is my gut feeling is saying that there must be a pretty strong chance that they are using parceltree's DHL account- almost everyones prices have gone up now apart from 'someone' who's playing a game of brinkmanship with DHL and larger companies who are selling it at a loss as marketing ploy.
The latter has been deduced form what I know of the current situation. All I have is circumstantial and haven't got the time or will power to go investigating it.
I have taken the liberty of emailing uk courier express asking why they have stopped the parcelforce service. If I get a reply, I will post it here.
If they ARE using parceltrees account, how come that when I have tried to book through parceltree in the past I have had failed collections yet I have never had this with uk courier express?
Also, if they ARE using parceltrees account, how can they be offering a service at £6.99 and be making a profit?
Okay I'm a typical blonde so the answer might be staring me in the face.
All I can say is, every booking I have made via uk courier express, has been collected and delivered.I hope I never get so old I get religious...... Ingmar Bergman0 -

I agree with what Armitage said above, a parcelforce service that's cheaper than a DHL service :rotfl: something's not quite rightI hope I never get so old I get religious...... Ingmar Bergman0 -

As far as I know, Interparcel seem to be popular, you usually end up with DHL service (Interparcel as a company have their own DHL account number, as it is used probably hundreds of times a day they get a big discount from DHL, they can then afford to pass some of the savings on to the customer who ends up paying less than using DHL directly) DHL also have a drop off point in Staples stores who have slightly different rates, they work off set package sizes (boxes provided) If you want to go down the line of prepaid labels, it may be worth looking at Fastway couriers, depending on the size and where you tend to ship to.0

I take it you mean for UK shipments rather than international ones? To be honest they're not particularly cheap (see first post of thread)m although yes they certainly are popular. Also DHL rates have jsut gone up, a lot. So now the only way you can get good rates via courier agents is if you get them to set up a sub account via the likes of sale track, freightsearch, p4d and sendex (interparcel).0 -
