I would receommend Interparcel for the next day delivery as it's probably safest option.

Can they do the same day bit too? As my company will want one point of contact and invoice.

  • as a ppw user i shall be keeping an eye on this thread with interest.

luckily i have not had anything to send since earlier this week, and as much as i have always had a good experience with them i never pre paid for anything as i would never trust any company enough to do this.

if they have folded what i will be looking for is a company that can offer the same speed of ordering ie. no need to weigh, or measure. these two things alone save loads of time and hassle.

  • What I cannot get my head around is the fact that PPW sent emails to all their customers advising them to use another company.
If they do intend to open up again, why not just advise that they were having problems and to use another courier service in the meantime without naming a specific company?
Granted for those of us in the know, the company they advised us to use is crap but they are cheaper than PPW.
    It just doesn't make sense.

    Still no refund

I know.. stick with parcelcheap.com not a bad price for parcelforce deliverys :)
  • Hi Red-Red-Wine, I tried Parceltree yesterday and it was 6.99 per parcel, not cheaper than PPW.

    thanks
No reliance should be placed on the above.

because i use mhd, i am accused of working from them,,,, hahahahaha.

i wouldn't mind if they was any truth into......... but i will let you know a known fact, mhd have been in business longer than most of the services on the front page as well on ebay, we have collections almost daily and haven't yet experineced a failed collection from them, we always receive a autoresponse and vat receipt instantly.... booking is very easy from us to complete, all we do is cut and paste my customers address in the boxes, then the pay. job done, confirmation, i think they are a professional outfit because they also are sameday company which as a fleet of 70 vehicles... if we have any problems we can ring them, but it saves us money by just talking to them on they live chat, and any problem we have are resolved they and then, even if it is a personal phone call from them to inform you it is done..

i mean what more can i ask for, i have dhl, tnt and fedex service there, prices are good enought even on they european.

I'm fed up with reading all these threads.

This thread needs locking and if anything we now need 2 separate ones.

1 just for courier services and adding new ones and another separate topic for people wanting advice on them.

Then you lot can moan to your hearts content and I don't have to read it.

Yes, they do. You get all address labels plus automatic VAT invoice saved in PDF file.
Hope this helps. The only thing is you have to book every order separately so it might be time consuming if you send more than 10 parcels a day.
