Hi
Has anyone had problems with getting the promsied points from the new Priority Club Visa card?
I took the card out in June and used it immediately and have been using it consistently ever since. To date there is no sign of the promised 20,000 bonus points for taking it out. I have contacted them numerous times and each time I get a different story. The card side and the hotel side keep blaming each other and I am getting very fed up. It is really destroying my confidence in both brands.

My hubby has this card & hasn't had a problem so far as I'm aware.
I don't think their customr service is very good though.
I think I would ring & ask to speak to a manager!0 -

Dear Ms. Chapman,
We apologize for any inconvenience this unfortunate situation has caused you.
We would like to inform you that Visa is already aware of the discrepancy issue on the Activation Bonus credited on our members accounts. Kindly allow additional time for them to correct this matter.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation regarding this matter. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Attached is the link to our Service Centers' phone numbers page: http://www.priorityclub.com/contactus.

btw, if you already had a PC account, you may find your points have been credited to a new account - PC will move them over if that is the case. You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -

Many thanks. Is having the points credited to a new account something that is happening to people? The other points that I have accrued from using the card seem to have been added OK, but will investigate.

Hi Lynne - if your usage points are on the right card then your bonus points should go on there as well - I had a new account opened despite giving them my PC account numberYou've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0

Had no problems getting the bonus points but have now cancelled the card because of experiencing very poor customer service.0

We have had great trouble with there call centre, as we speak we are awaiting a call back from a manager, I do not expect it, on one piece of paper I have 7 seperate agents numbers, yet when you call up they are never available again. bring back MBNA becausr Barclays are doing ICH group no favours, my husband works in call centre management and cannot believe that they do not log client call details, or thats what we are told, at the moment I was promised a 5.3pm call, last night it was 7pm, at 7.45 I was told the senior had left, if they want to be shown up maybe I should place all there names and extension numbers on here!!!0

When I signed up they were offering 20000 points. After multiple attempts, I finally received the credit card and have received 10000 points. Am still trying to get the other 10000!0

I signed up for the 20,000 points offer.
I had a struggle getting the points on my credit card.
and a second struggle getting the point on my IHG account.
With getting the points I had more succes going to priority points and raising a "missing points" issue rather than calling VISA.
Anyway I have eventually sorted it, so don't give up.
I have boked a night in New York (25K points) which is worth £350.
So it's well worthwhile
It can also be worth buying points to top up, if you are looking at expensive hotel like London and New York.
Also the do "points breaks" for 5K points.
It's hit and miss because you need to find a Hotel that fits your requirements, but if you can find one it's a great deal.
We booked one in London once for 5K points but it wasn't central.0
