The Link deal states:
Get the Samsung E530 with 18 months free line rental when you connect to the Relax 200 (18 mths) tariff.
This offer is partly via a network offer and partly via cashback, here's how it works.
Months 1 to 3 and 15 to 18 are billed at the discounted rate of £14.50 a month by T-Mobile.
The difference to make the line rental free for 12 months is via cashback which you can start to claim once you have received your 12th bill from the network
The total cashback amount is claimed in three installments of £145.00 over 24 months.
Note: the contract is 18 months but to get the full cash back you have to be connected for 24 months. So you will have to pay for 6 months at £29-00 per month (£174-00) .
So it is not a pure free line rental contract.
Nice looking phone though!

Hi Donger20,
The terms and cons state that you do NOT have to stay connected for 24 months. If you follow their terms the cost is zero!0 -
FREE Samsung E530
18 months FREE line rental via cash back saving £522
Line rental is £29.00 per month
200 anytime minutes per month to any network on o2
Samsung E530 is a 1 megapixel cameraphone with Bluetooth and a lovely design. It has a 262,000 colour internal display and a smaller colour external display. The megapixel camera also has video capture and playback facility, plus the E530 will play MPEG4 video clips and MP3 music files. You can transfer video and MP3 ringtones from your PC to the E530 by data cable or by Bluetooth. This neat flip phone has all the functions you would expect, and much more. With a cute outer shell and fabulous range of features, the E530 is a stylish and striking phone.

I have just ordered this deal, I'll let you know how I get on.0
-
Just ordered 2. Hope it's problem free.
Never had a contract before so feeling a little uneasy paying up and claiming back.
With my brains i'll probably forget all about the claimimg - doh!!I have learnt that providing excellence gets you what you deserve and not what you want !!!0 -
let us know how you get on haribol. oh, and haribol, hare krsna!Fr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.0

When i orignally posted this, forgot to mention that this deal is only available til monday.
Haribol and Dave80s, i dont think you need to worry, the Link is part of the Dixons chain, they should still be around in 24 months for you to collect your full cashback.
ps I ordered 2 on Wednesday, received 2 confirmation emails to say they are processing my order, will let you know when it arrives.
They have now added another handset, Motorla Rokr, same T&Cs. Any opinions on which handset is better?0 -
I've ordered two as well.
Does anyone know how the unlocking clips work? Would it be easy to make one?
Or, is it better to use a software unlocker?0 -
So is it 18 or 24 moths you need to be connected to get all the cashback?
We seem to have a difference of opinions here.0
