    Still no card, surprise surprise.

I know a friend who is also waiting for a card, they've clearly ran out of plastic :P

I shall phone again on monday if it doesn't arrive.

I've had my Classic for about 3 years now. Limit still at £400 as it was when I got it. I've paid it off in full each month for the past 2 years. Guess my account is one of those that's never looked at. Beginning to find the limit a little useless for my needs.

Worth calling them to check or is it still done automatically?

Done automatically, they dont do requests.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

cant believe they dont do increases for over 2 years i think alot of people actually leave them just because of that fact!!

  • they did increase mine on 4th statement but i now had card for 14 months and no further increases, i always use and pay off this card and it has been a great tool to build credit - went from nothing to several £8,000-£10,000 limit cards in a year but dont go expecting to book your next world cruise on your cap one card!
  • started at £100 , increased to £300 after 3 months, but since then nothing happened, i have now had it for 9 months.

its funny how i did manage to get a barclaycard platinum for £2200 though.

neways i dont plan on keeping cap 1 for long, another 3 months and then i am ditching them.

i dont understand capital one they started me with £100 limit due to having no credit history i have never been increased and will be leaving them soon the thing is i cant get accepted by anyone else and have a good history for around 18 months now the only this i can think that is the problem is the fact that i had moved not that long ago??

sorry for the post its my first one!

I'm leaving for exactly that. My mate had a limit of £200 4 years ago . After a year no increase so left . Went back and got £500 , increased to £1100 , again closed after a year or so . Reapplied recently and got 'mainstram' card with them and £1800 limit.
