My limit was increased from £200 to £800 (without them actually telling me - I just noticed the limit on the statement had changed a couple of months afterwards!) after about 5-6 months. I always paid mine in full but I can't remember how much I spent on it. At least something every month, probably around £100 most of the time.

ive had it about 5 years first increase but also have a progress card which came with a 1k limit

I started with £200, then it was increased to £400 after the fourth statement. Got an increase last month to £1000. I have had the card for 16 months.

My limit was increased from 200 to 800 after 8 months.

Got my first increase with capital one classic today, from £500 - £1500.
Had the card for about 4 and a half months.

Had mine for 6 months now, started at £200 and still £200.

I have had my card 3 years now and first increase was in the 4th month £200 to £400 it has been on that ever since.

Kept my card at around 70% usage and always paid around £50/£60 a month off never had an increase and paying a small amount to them every month doesn't seem to matter.

I've used the card for small things but thinking now of going with a more legit company that reward for payments.

I did email cap 1 sometime ago asking how often they review accounts for limit increases and was told the accounts are looked at every month.

Thats only the response I got haven't had any further communication from them since

Initially had card with limit of £200, 1 year later this was increased to £800 and approximately 10 months later increased to £1,800.

Update for my Classic card:

Opened August 2011
Just had notification of my first increase, effective from 1st June 2012. Gone from £200 to £800.
