have you ever gone over limit or missed payment was that also your starting limit?
    you cant change yesterday
but you can make tomorrow better
  • I've had the card for well over 2 years. I started at £200 and that's where it's stayed. I've never missed a payment & tend to pay off the whole balance each month.
In need of a new signature! :rotfl:

  • It started at £200 and then after four months it went to £500 . Always used and paid off in full every month . Never late always by DD and never over my limit . Anyway I 'may' re-apply after a couple of months as I should now get a better deal. Must check its actually closed.
  • I started with £100 and I have just had my 4th statement and they have increased to £750?????????
I phoned them a couple of weeks ago to see if they could raise the limit as I wanted to make a purchase online for more than my limit and the cs said she would add a note to my file. Not sure if that is why I have had the larger than expected upped limit!
I made a purchase at tesco when I first got it and just make the minimum payment plus phoning once or twice to pay £10 over the phone wi debit card.

I had my card since April 2008. Initial limit was £500 and on the 4th statement, limit increased to £1100. Now I have received my 8th statement, no further increases.

The limit does not really bother me, was just hoping they would change the card to the "Premier"

I closed mine down a few months ago, and got an offer last week of the same card but with 0% on purchases until May 2009.

I decided to send off the application form just for the 0% in the end, and shall cancel it again once the period expires as the rate then goes back to 34%...

Not too sure what limit I will get though. My last card was only £600 and I'd had it for 4 years, and it was run to perfection lol
