Yeah, I noticed that- very strange! They usually do them when they have running gear specials. Not sure I'd want to get running shoes in Aldi though, tbh...

Get yourself to JJB, I got mine there a couple of days ago. £30 mine cost but they have them as low as £20 :)

A bottle of water won't kill you to carry!! And you should be drinking water when exercising anyway.

My running tutor said that if you drink enough water beforehand then carrying a water bottle is unnecessary as it will only unbalance your gait (important not to have tension in your hands). Running in hot weather isn't a good idea anyway (although the chance would be nice).

Not saying you are wrong - just giving another point of view. :)

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

Hello I know i'm late but I'd like to join in. if I may.
I did do a couch to 5k programme to train for a race I wanted to do but then let it all slip:o . Now I need to get going again because I too am a nearly 40, fair and getting fatter mummy (of three) with a bit too much wobble and a need to get going.

there's also a 5k race through our town centre just at the beginning of December when the lights are switched on so I might aim for that.

i'll starton thursday when the chilren are back to school after the half term!
