wow ok.
Well I think I'll have a go then, but not this week unless I can get out to get myself a sports bra! not bothered about the rest
Have downloaded the thingy onto my phone so can listen to it now. Sounds scary but I'm getting a bit excited too.

im just back from my second week one run - my ears hurt cos it was a little windy out - not sure i could wear a hat tho as i got so hot
on sunday - my first go - i pounded the pavements but today was almost kicking out time for the schools so decided to walk to where i work almost 5 mins away and run around the football pitches - the walk was almost 5 mins spot on so that was perfect and i found it a bit easier to run on the grass
when i then came to walk home i found the pavements really hard - overall it was a little easier than sunday but i miscounted the runs and thought 7 was my last one so was gutted that i had another interval to go !!!
another good thing about running around the field - 2 runs and 2 recoveries were about 1 lap - was i could dump my jkt and collect it when i was finished
aiming for third time on friday or sunday afternoon - depending on how legs feel tomorrow
good luck everyone:j MFi3 wannabee :j

I have been reading since the thread was started and I am in the seriously contemplating doing this 'stage'. Does it have to be 3 times per week with one day between or can it be any days in the week? Does that makes sense?
Thanks
KM
I [strike]run [/strike] aim to run every other day and I don't get any injury or fatigue problems. I think that as long as you give your body a day to recover it doesn't matter which days you run. So just do it to suit yourself

Does any have or have ever had any problems with achilles tendons?
One of the reasons why I stopped when I was doing this before, was that I started getting pains in my right achilles. I did the second run of week 2 yesterday, and I'm afraid to say I can feel twinges again:( . I have very good shoes, and I am making sure I'm doing my stretches- so I really don't understand why it's happening, especially as it's only on my right ankle, other than maybe I just have a weakness there?
I would hate to think I had to stop running because of this, as I'm otherwise enjoying it so much...any ideas, anyone?0 -

I wonder if it's suitable for achilles problems? I will look into it.0 -
