That's why I love the 5 minute walk before and after, people that live nearby think I'm just out for a nice walk :rotfl:
Well done to everyone :TJust because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -

Heads up- this Thursday in Aldi they're going to be doing some winter running clothing and accessories. Take a look here- it all looks good: http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/offers_week42thursday08.htm?WT.z_src=main
I've just come back from Aldi with some new kit :j. I was there not long after 9 o'clock and there wasn't much left by then - people were leaving with arm-fulls!
I'll be toasty warm this winter. Thanks again harryharp for the heads up.

Hi
after reading about the couch to 5k on here, i plucked the courage to start last week, i did the 1st run of week 2 last night and it was soooo much harder than week 1, going to go again tomorrow (weather permitting) and see if it gets any easier.
I will have to pop out in my dinner to aldi for some running gear if theres any left!!!0 -

It is a big step up from Week 1 to Week 2 - you're running for 50% more time than you're used to:eek:. Run more slowly than you think you should. It'll help get your heart rate up without you getting too out of breath. It does get easier in the long run (excuse the bad pun) as your heart, lungs and muscles get used to the extra exercise.
Good Luck with the Aldi kit.

I am a bit worried about going from week one to week two. Tomorrow I am supposed to be going onto week two, not sure I'm ready for it yet.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0
