    oi woman get me on that list im going fer a run tomorrow

    i know i said i couldnt afford it til next month, but i found £1 coin on the floor, bought a scratch card, won £50 so i am now the proud owner of a new pair of asics running shoes and a properly fitted sports bra. :j:j:j:j:j

    nfortunatel (or fortunately according to my OH) my boobs have grown i thought i was a 36C but im really a 38DD :eek::eek::eek::eek: no wonder ive had backache lol
    If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

    Three runs a week with a day between them. I do mine on Fri, Sun and Tues. And yep, just listen to it and it'll tell you what to do :)

    Yep - listen whilst walking/running


    This from Ullrey's website about Week One.

    You'll have a brisk five minute walking warmup followed by eight sets of 60 second interval runs. A 90 second recovery will follow each interval and you'll finish up with a 5 minute cool down.

    Move to Week 2 when you feel you're ready.

    You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

    I have been reading since the thread was started and I am in the seriously contemplating doing this 'stage'. Does it have to be 3 times per week with one day between or can it be any days in the week? Does that makes sense?

    What days are you thinking of? I'm not sure but I think the day in between should be followed :confused:

  • I'm not sure... I just know that my weeks vary so it would be hard to set 'set days' but as long as I make sure I leave a day inbetween I suppose it doesn't matter if I don't stick to the days the guy on the podcasts sets?

    Can't believe I am even 'contemplating' this, I can't walk upstairs without being out of breath but I'm not over weight at all just completely unfit! :o

    I wouldn't say it matters really, just keep the day inbetween and you should be okay.

    Go on, agree to do it ;) you sound like me, I get out of breath far too easy, so unfit, bit slowly getting there. To be honest, I just do it for something to do and a bit of a challenge more than anything else. Everyone has their reasons though :)

  • Ok you've persuaded me. I'll buy some running shoes and socks this weekend and download the podcast and I will start maybe Sunday? I will let you know when I have bought them so you can add me to the list :eek: :o:D:D:D
