ok so week one run 3 completed - but not without complications !!
i used a treadmill today as wanted to go to a class after and didnt want to be dirty and was going well feeling ok when during recovery 5 everything went quiet - thought battery gone or knocked it on pause or something so started fiddling then noticed the display said sixth run so i panicked a little and started running
i think i ran for about 45 secs when it said right lets begin our next run - 7th - arghhh !!! so i just kept running until the next recovery
was ok really - this 3rd run was definitly the best
1st - pavements - very hard - but hard cos it was first or hard cos it was pavements ?? or both ??
2nd - field - not bad got ear ache from wind but legs recovered very quickly
3rd - treadmill - good - worked harder - ran faster and walked faster - also added at least 15 secs onto each run before recovery
to be fair running on a treadmill is easier as it helps carry you along a bit but i was definitely walking faster during my recoveries on the treadmill
aiming to do another week one on sunday when i finish in the gym - tho did feel a bit of a kn0b with all the stopping and starting esp as some of my clients were in the gym !!!
cant have been to bad tho as i went and did bodypump 20 minutes after !!!
good luck everyone it does get easier - lets keep going xxx:j MFi3 wannabee :j

I'm gonna join in!
I've done a bit of running recently, and have got loads better. I normally run/walk just less than 2 miles, which takes me about 20 mins. So this is a bit longer, and I can't just stop when I feel like it.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Unfortunately, this does mean I have to fiddle with my hands down my top. I did try attaching it to a chain around my neck, but it swang when I ran and annoyed me.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
