Can I join too please? I have used the podcasts previously and got to week 3 and then lost momentum. I have completed two sessions of week one again this week and will be running again on Sunday (uuuurrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhh) but stepping up to week two.

I think I may be on my own though in so far as you all run on the road and I am at a gym on the treadmill. Does this matter?

Course you can, will pop your name on the list :)

daisy done her last run on a treadmill so your not alone :) I'm just too poor to join a gym :rotfl:

  • Morning Webitha well done...out so early too how good are you! I'm sat here with a coffee and my laptop contemplating about what time I should go for my run?! More people at home on a Sunday to see me haha...

My legs ached yesterday as you said they would but my calfs are still aching this morning so do you think I should rest them another day hehe?

Was that your second run today?

...Any room for one more??? :)

I broke my Mum's treadmill yesterday (no idea how, only switched the bliddy thing on!) and so it's the gym or the road for me till it gets fixed (if still under warranty) or I fix it (if it's not).

Will download the first podcast and when I've woken up I'll get out there and <!> run!

    xx

    welcome ephemera

and yes that was only my second run KM and dont you dare wait another day, get out there and get it done lol, (consider your backside kicked lol)

i was up as 7am (bleeding dog whineing) as im dog sitting also noone up at that time as everyother lucky booger was having a lie in, so noone to see my lumbering frame gently (ha) stomping up the road.
and all i can say is thank the lord for a good fitting sports bra lol

  • Ok backside kicking has worked...I'm eating my ready brek and then I think I will drive to the park and run round that rather than the streets, too many houses to run past :o:p I'm so soft...Plus the other benefit is that its flatter... No matter which way I run from home I end up running up hill at some point which as you can imagine for me is no fun :D

Did someone say people do this for fun

In my experience its better to have a days rest in between - I suffered with shin splints quite badly when I first started.

I completed week 3 yesterday, and going to attempt week 4 tomorrow !!:rotfl:
  • Thanks nottslass I did leave a day inbetween but my calfs are really sore today, not making excuses honestly. But I will still try my run today.

Well done on completing week 3 that must have been hard. I have a feeling I will be doing week 1 for 2 weeks to get used to it!

    :o:D

Oh what fun it is too  . I've had 2 days off so I need to run today or it'll be even harder tomorrow. It's wind and horizontal rain here at the moment - so I'll take the dogs out first and see what it's like in an hour or so. Thank goodness I bought those new longs from Aldi this week. They should keep the rain off my legs. :(

Well done everyone who has already been out today. :T

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.
