Hi Ephemera, I'm sure I've seen you on the OD thread? Will add you to the list :)

I'll be going for my run later tonight, I prefer it in the dark for some reason  second run of week two today, the first one killed me ;)

Don't worry KM, the aching goes away pretty quickly :)

Thanks nottslass I did leave a day inbetween but my calfs are really sore today, not making excuses honestly. But I will still try my run today.

Well done on completing week 3 that must have been hard. I have a feeling I will be doing week 1 for 2 weeks to get used to it!

Ah yes.but I've been doing week 3 since June !!!!

Started doing C to 5K about 18months ago,but let it slip, especially over the summer, and only managed to get out once per week, hence sticking to week 3,but now, thanks to this thread,I'm re motivated:j

when I originally started running I repeated quite a few weeks, and all in all I think it took me 18 weeks before I did the full 5K.

    Good Luck Everyone

    Cheers Webitha!

I spent over two hours trying to get the podcast to work on my mp3 player, finally got there and have now had my run.

Not feeling too bad right now, but I remember at about run 7 thinking I was going to pass out!! And I know my legs are going to ache tomorrow but that's a good thing, right? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Tentatively looking forward to my second run on week 1 on Tuesday, hoping the weather is good, and well done to everyone else on here keeping it going! xx

I haven't done my run yet! I've been at work all day, and now I've got a really bad headache. But I will be going soon.

  • Well that didn't go well :(. I'd drunk a large frothy coffee whilst walking the dogs in the fields and then went for a run almost straight after. I got about half way round my course and the coffee thought it might like to think about making a reappearance._pale_  Hmmmmm..... not good......so I just walked home instead. That'll teach me. :o Nevermind - I'll go out tomorrow instead.

On the plus side my new Aldi kit kept me lovely and warm without being restrictive. Top buy!

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

I had a bad one too :( Almost turned my ipod off after the 5th run, really didn't think I could go another step but somehow I did manage to finish it. Thought I was going to pass out :o

I'm quite embarrassed at how unfit I am :(
