My sister wants to learn to run, and wants me to go with her. So I'm now doing the Couch to 5K again. We did week 1 today, and she didn't find it too hard.

  • Hi all! After lots of rain / snow and half term, I managed to get out running today - started where I left off at week 4, run 2. Felt great, no problems on the first 3 runs, the final one was a tough 5 minutes, but I didn't give up! I'm really enjoying it, and can't wait to run again. In between runs I'm doing some weight training and yoga, just to keep the fitness levels up.

Hope you are all having a great day!

Woohoo! I hope you've got some good running shoes, and also a decent pair of socks. My socks were 5 pairs for £3 (possibly £2) from Sports World, so they're not expensive, ut it's so much better having proper running socks.

Running socks? Is there such a thing?

Thanks for sending me here Juno, I will need support and inspiration, and ther's bags of it here.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

You see, I'd only buy running socks if they promised to do the actual running for me.

Bamb ino has been up at night, due to being full of snot, but I really, really will start training this weekend.
