So I missed Tuesdays run because I have a sore bum (don't ask). Should be okay to do my run tomorrow though and thinking about joining that running group on Wednesday :eek: I'm scared though!Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0

Rest day today, am feeling under the weather somewhat and have had trouble keeping warm, spent a good chunk of time in bed, wrapped up with the leccy blanket on!! Just hoping I've broken the back of it and I'll be ok for tomorrow, am feeling a bit better so far...so fingers crossed. I don't want to stop now and have to start all over again!

...just found one I like the look of... Poole Joggers, affiliated to Poole Athletic Club. Won't be joining till I finish the 5k challenge as their shortest run is <eek> 3 miles, so there's no way I'm ready for that!! Yet.

I don't know whether to skip ahead to week 5 now. I didn't think I'd manage to run that long! I must run slowly, though, as I ran about 1.2 miles.

Hi all. Did my 3rd run of the week last night, but being the idiot that I am, just carried on through. I mapped it out and its roughly 2 miles I ran, about half a mile or so was walking. Ive got up today though and am in complete agony with shin splints. So much so I am on the verge of crying. Walking to the bus stop this morning wasn almost impossible so I think I'm going to hasve to go home from work later - my job means i'm constantly up and down and walking around but I just can't do it. I just moved my leg and got the worst pain! aaaargh.
Anyone else suffer from this? I used to get it when I was younger if i had done alot of netball/running during the week but i havent had it this bad before!0 -
