No running today :( I was really tired so I fell asleep, and then when I woke up it was dark and still raining, and my roof is leaking. Now I have a drip in my kitchen just above my wet bin, so I have wet bread. Not happy!

I run along a main road, and it's fine. Sometimes I get inconsiderate van drivers (always seems to be vans) who shout things at me, but with the podcast on I can't hear them. So they must be shouting, "well done!" ;)
Once I did have to walk past some workmen, who said I wasn't running. So I said they weren't working either.
Once I did see someone I know from work, and it's inspired her to want to start running. She has a treadmill though.
On my last run, I was waiting to cross the road during my cool down, and I didn't want to stop moving so I was walking on the spot. Some woman in her car did slow down and give me a funny look.

I've had to buy a new sports bra. I've lost weight (a combination of this and the pie club) and my old one no longer supports me. I'm gonna knock myself out soon

Well done on the weight loss :D :T

Hey everyone, just a quick pop in!!

Well done the runners - I started Week 3 yesterday (three minute runs!) and was very pleased to get through it ok...although the prospect of 20 mins is a little <gulp!> scary at this time....

...but then again I know that eventually 20 minutes' running is going to seem like nothing so what AM I whingeing at? :):):)

Day's rest today and my Russian lesson, back on the treadmill tomorrow at the gym....the saga of our home treadmill continues...

Replacement for the one I 'blowed up' duly arrived...broken. Replacement for the replacement also arrived...broken. Sigh.

So we're taking the money back and getting one from somewhere else. Anyone recommend a decent runner's treadmill in the £400 bracket??

Cheers all and... keep on running :)

    xxx Eph

And ((hugs)) to Webitha... What a cheeky bloke...mind you I'll bet he's a sight more careful driving out from his place in future.

Hope the bruise goes down real quick, I'm right there with you as covered in 'em from Paintball on Saturday and got some cracking ones...but then again I was kind of expecting to get them....unlike yours. Ouch.

Happy running to one and all
