Couch to 5k Running

yup that was my plan to try and ease my way onto week 5 a little easier -

i havent run since friday and prolly wont till weds as im doing step and jam tomorrow - tho might do it in between but then id be running on weds too as wont be on thurs

arghh very confusing !!

cant see how they want us to go from 5 mins to 20 - thats just harsh !!!

OK - I've got my kit on - no excuses - I'm going out for 2.5 miles even though it's raining...... but not just yet as I'm going to finish my tea

Its raining here too,but I love running in the rain (hate running in the wind) mind you I swear that I could see the steam rising off me when I finished !!

Well Mrs Smug :rolleyes: I did go out but only for just over 2 miles. I got too hot . I can't quite get the hang of running in cold weather. It's a personal failing that I can't stand being cold so I always tend to wrap up. I went out in longs, running vest, running jacket and fleece over the top *and she wonders why she was hot :rolleyes: * . I usually strip off a layer as I get warmer, but I was down to a rather over-tight running vest and I thought for the common good that should really stay put :eek:. And I felt tired and hungry. I had a couple of slices of brown toast and philly for breakfast. I must be missing my magic banana sammich .

Well done for getting it over with so soon nottslass :T. Cool runnings to all those going out later.

Well, it was either that or run round the kitchen, and I think my daddy would have killed me after about the 20th lap! There was one bit near the start where I thought it was gonna be a bad idea, but mostly there weren't that many fallen leaves and luckily it's not icy yet.

Amybird was my little canary. She was a darling. She hurt her leg, and then I took her to the vet and she died whilst they were trying to make her better.
