im not sure if ive been really naughty but i have been and done a week 4 run again today - with no rest day ......
stats were better tho - 244 calories and 3.6 km - not quite sure why that differed from yesterday as i followed the podcast pretty much spot on both times ....yesterday i did finish the cool down walk 2 mins early but that was all

anyhow - it was tough but a good tough if you get me

the step class i did straight after was tougher......my excuse - hardly any exercise this week due to work and half term !!

Just be careful you don't overdo it!

I done my 2nd week 3 run today, still hurts my legs a bit but I'd say it's probably the easiest week so far. I just know I couldn't run 5 mins yet though!

I have felt so pants that I have not run that I have felt too guilty to even read the thread! :o So I going to go back and read where you are all up to and I am going to put it down here that its official that I back out running tomorrow :D Obviously I will be back to square 1 so will be doing week 1 again  SO get ready for the next moanathon :p

I bet you have all done amazing and I am miles and miles behind  never mind at least I'm starting again and not giving up eh :D

Take it easy at first - but I bet the rest will have done you good.

I was supposed to run today, but DD2(11) wants me to take her swimming. I think I'll try that instead (checking to see if I can use my heart rate monitor in the pool) and run tomorrow.

    Isn't the weather pants! :(

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

I also have a confession to make.

I didn't go running on Wednesday, as it was my rest day. I didn't go running on Thursday, as I went to the theatre. I didn't go running on Friday, as my sister had a party. I didn't go running on Saturday as I had a hangover (and a 10 hour shift at work).

    Hey everyone!

I was supposed to run on Tuesday, Run 2 of Week 2, but only managed to do it today. Am finding it a bit hard going cycling to work and home and running too. Getting low on steam!

So will fit in as and when I can. Was surprised to find that I had no trouble doing the run even with a four day break! Although I only went to the gym because I was bouncing off the walls with a lot of unused energy....! Glad it's all used up now. Doing a sensible routine of a drop of wine and watching the Grand Prix!

And again, well done to everyone keeping it up, I'm looking forward to the last Week 2 run on Tuesday, then Week 3 beckons...! :0)

    All the best,

    Eph xx

Just done my third run of week 3, still finding it okay, went into Tesco afterwards and walked around lots to do my 5 min cooldown :rotfl: had to get my lunches before it shut ;)

Should be going onto week 4 on Tues, not a clue if I should or not. 5 minutes is a long time!

similar but hers is a black one thats fer support of the whole ankle i will ask more when i see her, thats if i ever see her, i mean she talks me into this bleeding triathlon and then have never shown up fer the training, well i will show her up when i beat her lol
I started week 4 today and found it OK- I think the trick is to jog SLOWLY- then you can keep going. I go so slow in fact that my DH calls it a 'shuffling' rather than running!!

Webitha, did you ever see your mate to ask her where she got her ankle support thing? Like I say, I'm still within my comfort zone fitness-wise, but still have the odd twinge in my achilles tendon.
