    I think 10% is a bit much! I'm hoping it's a typo, as everywhere I've seen recommends 1%.

hey all, back out there again, run #2 of week 1 (which may take me 3 weeks to complete!)
I struggled from the word go, but took it slowly and made it through .. have a feeling I will be a bit sore tomorrow. Oh wells, must keep at it!
Welcome CatCat and good luck with your plan :)

  • Well done sarsief!

I just did my first run of week 4. This takes you up to running 5 mins as a block. Can't lie and say it was easy but probably not quite as bad as I was expecting. I am a little bit stiff now but I went for a swim afterwards and I think that helps a lot with stretching out the muscles.

I am a total novice too and can't get over the fact that I can now run for 5 mins all at once, keep at it anyone at earlier stages because if I can do it, you definitely can!!

I used to run a lot and even completed a half marathon a couple of years ago. Since then, I have been injured completed a masters degree and become really lazy. I intend on starting to run again (and I would say it will be from scratch as I am pretty unfit right now), so I hope I have come to the right place for inspiration and support and I hope I can join in...

    Hi and welcome :)

Should go for my second week 4 run tonight but it's damp and cold and I can't motivate myself - will have to do it in the gym tomorrow...

    Are you using a programme??
