    Morning :hello:

I've been up since 3.45am  Got lots done though :D

I'm too scared to go into the lounge, I've been making Christmas cards to sell in packs (might do 5 per pack, not sure yet) and my stuff is all over the floor :D Must order more card, envelopes and cello bags today.

Well, money, money, money - how depressing - or it would be if I let it affect me :D I've decided that as I have no control over the situation, then I'm not IN the situation and I AM NOT having any part of it whatsoever :rotfl: I really don't care about, or feel sorry for, the greedy people who created the situation in the first place. For the normal people who are struggling (well people I know, I can't do much about people I don't know), I've created spreadsheets and I've been handing them out to anyone who asks. Once they know exactly where their cash is going, they can sort it themselves or come back to me for help.

Ex-boss rang me a few times last week, I ignored the phone (caller ID). I answered the phone to him yesterday, he doesn't think he can cope :D He said all the work and paperwork together got him down and he had to take a few days off  I reeled off a list of my own rules, including the hourly rate, but I haven't agreed to anything - YET.

The man from the curtain shop (it's a shop within a shop - he rents space in the place where mr troo works) asked mr troo when I'm starting the job. He hasn't even met me yet and I never said I wanted the job anyway. Mr troo explained about bookkeeping for ex-boss and curtain-man said 'oh I'm rubbish with the books, maybe she could do that instead'. Not sure what to do........Plus I'm in Glos and the shop is in Newport, I don't drive so I'd have to go with mr troo. He doesn't always go straight to the shop and he leaves early sometimes, part of his job is going to customer's houses. Shop hours aren't flexible so I'm hardly ideal.

    Hello Possums,

DGS has fallen asleep on the lounge chair. It was 3pm and I was in the kitchen cutting up a banana up for his arv tea. XDIL will kill me as goodness knows when he'll be ready for bed tonight. :D Oh well, not much I can do about it now. :D Took him shopping this morning and went to the library before we caught the next ferry back.

Have made a zucchini quiche for tea tonight & I stewed up some rhubarb & apple. DH reckons the rhubarb is fine but it's green. All the rhubarb I've ever had is red. Think I"ll let him test it out first in case it gives you tummy aches. :D

Whatawit I asked one of the workman today and the cement trucks are turning up on Thursday morning to do the road outside my place. :D I'm sure you'll be able to hang in there until then.
CM How are Nurse Nightingale duties going? Has DH recovered yet? ;)
HH I hope your DH can pick himself up. It's awful when things get on top of you.
PP I hope your Sis doesn't mind you being indiscreet with her personal life. I know I would be shattered if I told my sister personal stuff to read it in a public forum no matter how anonymous we are. But then again, I'm lucky, my sister will die with my secrets. :D
MeanMarie I hope things improve soon. <hugs>

Well I better go and make a bit more noise. Hope you all have a lovely day. Byeeeeeeeeeeee

Ruby I suppose she whipped you.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Hola! everyone

Still on limited time on here, so not read any of the threads.

DS & GF were unimpressed with rainy Spain when they arrive on Saturday, but yesterday it turned round again, had a long(ish) walk along the coast yesterday.

(((hugs))) to all. Take care DG

Morning. It's sure very Autumn down here this morning. Lots of wind and drizzle. I guess the nice warm dry days are almost over.

Oooooh, N9eav - you spent all summer complaining about those lovely dry sunny days :naughty::naughty::naughty: It's beautiful again here (I love all weather :D and the changing of the seasons).

Pen-pin - I can't believe what happened to Mr Pincher     Are you absolutely sure your sister doesn't read this forum :o

Catowen - apologies for my new avatar - DS has decided that Leeds are a bunch of losers, and Hull City is the team to follow :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyone seen my chooky mate Shez

I have a meeting at w*** and was asked to bring a cake. I've made and decorated a huge chocolate cake, but as it's nice weather, I won't be able to take it on my bike, so will have to ring a friend to see of she can give it a lift :o

DH has gone for a few days in Manchester, so I'll be able to do a few jobs this evening (ironing   , filtering credit card slips, quick dust and a hoover).

Turkey and veg pie for tea.

Have a great day, Penny. x

  • Good Morning everyone

Hugs to those who need them or just want one ( Saving one for myself too )

OS went out the window and i had a very bad day emotionally, still abit of a mess today. So please excuse my ramblings today.I have been up since 3am again so i am shattered also
    :(

My DW and WM are about to finish within the next half hour, i just couldnt muster up the will or energy to put it on yesterday evening. DS's packed lunch has just been made so at least thats one thing done. Feeling guilty now as i shouldnt of let my emotions get the better of me in such a way, i am sure i will feel worse when i realise how much extra electric my appliances have used..... Oh well i suppose we are all allowed to slip every now and then ?

Reading some of the past posts on here,my problems are nothing in comparison.

Passes a tissue to all the poorly people out there, think i have a cold coming on. My nose has started itching and i had a fit of sneezes earlier.

Right off to attempt to get my day to a start. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday

I almost hope that PP's sis does read the forum. Seeing it in black & white is sometimes what is needed to be fully aware of what's happening.
    Especially with the money situation.
She obviously does not feel comfortable about the underwear situation (bet he didn't either ;):D ) to tell someone.

Aussie, I will wait patiently for the concreters...might see if I can find a fishing pic to gaze at

Hello everyone, well a rainy start here in MK. Weather forecast doesnt look good for the next couple of days, watched the news and got throughly fed up, have decided that I am going to boycott the news for a while. We are going to have chilli con carne tonight, thought that would be nice and warming. Hope everyone has a better day and duddles to you all x

not sure what kind of weather we are going to have today, but washing is up to date. Dishwasher has been emptied, ironing is nearly up to date. I left all the hard to iron things to last, and now can't face it.
OH is night shift so will be limited what I can get up to housework wise. might take myself in to town. I saw on another thread Debenhams 70% sale has started. we could all do with some warm jerseys as the thermostat has been turned down on the heating. Already had my first complaint from DD, told her to wear something warmer. :)
last night we had chilli, tonight going to make a quiche for the first time in years. bought cheats pastry though ;)
