    Happy Bank Holiday everyone :)

It's my birthday tomorrow & we're off to the Cotswolds for the weekend & IT'S STOPPED RAINING:j. Staying above a pub so should be no problem staggering back to room after dinner :D. Am just hoping on the way home I don't take a wrong turning & end up in Bicester Shopping Village :o

Took OH to golf this morning & hit a pigeon . My fault, didn't stop :(. OH convinced it's under the car , random feathers appearing . Need to have a look I suppose. Oh well, sauted pigeon breasts for lunch then ;).

Well, my little overpayment pot for the BTL mortgage is up to £117.84. New regime of transferring money from money off vouchers as soon as received has netted £8.50, and £2.45 from 5p petrol voucher. £50 ebay and rest is balance of A&L current account I am closing.

    Lot to do this morning:
    - Mr T's - use some of the money off vouchers, also want to look for silky vest tops - I know, am about 6 months too late.
    - Sainsbugs - take back some clothes I bought the other night at 20% off, none of which fit.
    - A&L - sent secure message last weekend saying I wanted to close account, no reply, phoned the other night, said it was being processed but heard nothing. Will be taking in card & cheque book, I want it closed & am not prepared for them to charge me £5 for underfunding as they can't get their act together!
    - charity shop - drop off bag of clothes that don't fit me any more :)
    - M&S - take back jacket I bought for OH that I don't like quality of.
    - 2 shops to look for jeans for me in a smaller size :)
all to be done quickly as need to pick up OH from golf, then make delicious lunch (dk what, will involve salad to clear out fridge, maybe cous cous & chicken), then sort out bag for weekend while OH sees his mum then get in car & go :). But 1st, breakfast :)

    Have a great weekend all.

Well tonight's exciting news is I have just redeemed 5 years worth of Harris points for a £25 Amazon voucher :rotfl:. So that will go towards Xmas :santa2:.

Sold some stuff on ebay, paypal up to £43, including £15 from another survey co. Have relisted 2 items (but forgot I meant to wait till I come back from holiday, will have to ask son to post unless they pay immediately), hopefully if they sell I will be up to £50.

£52.87 on its' way from quidco :T, including £50 from Churchills from March :easter:.

Really tired, may have to go to bed at 9.30 :o, what a lightweight :rotfl:

Still up :) Went online to look at M&Co website - I like their jeans and they are having a 25% off sale on Thurs so was picking what I wanted. Also 10% off for new customer, free delivery over £40 and 8% cashback so quite bargainous :T. Ordering some jeans, leggings (ha ha, will I dare to wear :)), PJ's, tops & lots of socks including some for DD's Xmas. They've gone really frumpy again though, having been a lot better for a year or so :(

Ok, more random musings from me :o.

Mortgages paid today so spreadsheets updated :)

Total mortgage debt now just below 128k, so another brick filled in on house :)

2 of the mortgages dropped below another thousand, one will go back above with interest but other will remain below :)

Mortgage 1 which is my 1st personal target to clear (well, have equivalent in savings) by em, next August, stands at just over 24k (42k less 9k offset less 9k ISAs). Projected to be just over 5k short , not giving up just yet (e.g. there will be over 2k paid in when remortgage on mum's comes through to pay back what I've borrowed for DD's house purchase). It WILL be done :)

2010 challenge is well short thanks to kitchen - will need to admit defeat I think :(

MFiT2 challenge is behind by just under 3k - but the 2k above will help that, no real worries on that score, 68k over 3 years would be pretty impressive, but needed to keep me on track for 2nd personal challenge :)

2nd personal challenge is to clear all 128k in now just under 6 years (by my 55th .) Easy :rotfl:. Current projection is it will be done in Sept 15, 11 months ahead of schedule :j (em, kinda surprised, hadn't looked for a while as was well behind after kitchen :o). If all continues to plan would like to achieve by March 15 (OH's 55th). :)

3rd personal challenge is to have 100k savings by 60. That's currently projected to be 135k :)

All above is based on current levels of OP's remaining the same. However, at present I am paying an extra £280 a month to repay what I borrowed for car - that finishes next Aug and I haven't included the £280 a month after that. Realistically I will continue it, which obviously brings date forward, but at some stage I will need to replace car again so this gives me a cushion. We may also be having a v expensive NY/LV holiday next year but I have a 10yr savings thingy maturing so that will cover that. No more major expenditure planned - we could do with new sofas but can't find any I like, also could do with new front & back doors. My bonuses will take care of those.

    So. All eminently doable. 2Q==2Q==simples-200x200.jpg

    End of random musings.
