GG your depth of knowledge always amazes me, not least because you try to make out you are completely dizzy at times!!
Keep up the good work, it will all be worth it in the end - just think if you don't help out DD she might want to move back home for good:eek:
TPAxMFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
Hmmmmm, people I work with seem to think I'm quite bright, with dizzy moments. The reality is I walk about in a state of confusion, with occasional moments of clarity :rotfl:
Well, have checked my paperwork with Egg as I had a follow up message from them. According to my paperwork I SHOULD have been on a 2 yr deal (was actually a 4 year deal they were fitting us into 1/2 way through, long story). It appears they didn't. It appears they put me on an open ended .99% above base rate. So mortgage will be at 1.49% as long as base rate stays at 0.5%, then rise accordingly. The other part of the mortgage is at 1.24% (0.75% above base rate) for another 2 years. Guess I'll just have to live with that then
Just weighed myself, seems another 1lb off. Need to keep it off till weigh in Monday night, may not be easy as told 2 of my staff I'd take them out for lunch Monday....... I'll be the one in the corner, with the lettuce leaf. And the summer dress, despite the weather, as warm clothes weigh more :rotfl:
Currently meal planning for the week, need to motivate myself to go shopping. Lunch today will be hm lentil soup with Italian tuna & mixed bean salad. Tonight will be prawn & sweet potato curry. And carrots, as that's all OH came up with when I asked him what he wanted
Have a good day all, off to see what else is happening amongst Lewis Lane residentsA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Quick update - 5 items listed on ebay last week, 4 sold, will bung the other back up again then charity shop it. Of the 4 that sold, 3 were items I'd bought off ebay (including 2 of 'the bags', both of which I'd never used
), all 3 sold for more than purchased, incuding postage
. £50 very quickly withdrawn from paypal. Need to curb my ebay habit*
. That £50 will be first £50 OP on new mortgage.
Lost 1.5lbs this week :T (and that is without the Shred :rotfl:).
Off to sarf London now, annoyed as should have been working from home, never mind, going on choo choo train and should get back in time to post ebay stuff.
Have a good day all
*em, may have purchased a jigsaw 2 days ago, in my defence it's one we saw last year that was £12 and I've paid £6. Sad, I know.....:oA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Crikey, 3 and half hours on the computer this morning .
In my defence I have:
- done banking. That was scary , have had to 'borrow' 1k from offset and a lot more has had to be transferred to pay ccard bills (cooker for btl, holiday deposit etc) and mortgages.
- had to phone A&L as they had wrongly imposed an £5 fee. Got it refunded but their website is so useless I've decided to close that account once 3 o/s credits are in.
- so, logged onto quidco, greenm, paypal etc to change banking details
- emailed Gap about a missing £55 payment from last year.
- updated my signature & found a new avatar (comments please)
- answered emails and done surveys
- withdrew £15 from lightspeed to paypal. I WILL withdraw it, I will NOT spend it on ebay :rotfl:
- em, read about a bit on here
Now off to get dressed & get to supermarket, also to PO to pick up jigsaw puzzleA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Oh I love jigsaws, haven't done one for ages. My mum bought one for me that didn't have a box so no picture. Turned out to be a plane being hi-jacked with lots of bullets/blood, which does seem a rather strange thing to have as a jigsaw
I also said this "haven't done one for ages" about coloring in, so BF bought me a coloring book and felt tips for my birthday, today he has bought me pencils as I complained that the felt tips showed through the page :rotfl:Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

I absolutely love Jigsaws too and haven't done one in years. The colouring i get to do with the kids until they grow out of it but i have a good few years yet.
I know what you mean about scary banking. I took my eye off the ball since Tuesday and it has just took me ages to sort through it all tonight. Crazy.0 -
