 grrrr, been awake since stupid o'clock & up since 5 . Bloody rain
Oh well, have been productive, so far:
-tidied my hotmail folders (does that count as housework :rotfl:)
- listed 2 things on freecycle, someone already replied & coming later.
- wrote up 6 things for ebay, will take pics when daylight & list tonight. 5 are things which didn't fit me and now do but I don't like them, well, they were worth keeping hold of for a couple of years...... doh
- and just listed another skirt, brand new with tags on which I have decided I don't like....double doh
- found a random smiley(wasn't TPA threatening to do one of these?)
- done 2 loads of washing, 1 in tumble drier on E7, 1 on airer
- sent message to A&L to close current account, have transferred all money out.
- had a look at Stafford Railway BS website. It says I can OP mortgage at any time, but doesn't say how. Will ring them later & ask, hopefully I can get account number & sort code & pay electronically, but 1 cheque a month would be ok I suppose. I need to speak to them anyway as I need a new DD form - the one I filled in was for A&L.
- had a think about how to arrange finances. Once A&L closed I will have 2 Smile current accounts & 1 NWide. Ideally I would like 1 ordinary current account & 2 different ones to keep mum's house, which I own, separate from other 2 BTL's, which OH & I own. However, all 3 tenants pay cash, now all going in to NWide. In the past I have tended to sometimes use that account for BTL bills & sometimes other Smile account. Going forward, I will use the NWide account for mum's house, transfer other rent out straight away & use other Smile account for BTL's.
- had a look at mortgage balances again, just in case they had plummeted overnight. They hadn't
. My aim was to have equivalent of mortgage on our house either in offset or savings my my 50th (1 year and 6 days away ). Current projection is £6790.64 short. Approximately
. If I can get OH's *ss in gear & get him paying some decent amounts we can achieve this easily. However, he likes to be in control so may withhold the funds till the day after my 50th :rotfl:.
- managed to get very confused with Amazon - sold a text book last week I'd had for years, profit of over £60 :D:eek:. Had an email so say they can't pay me as they don't hold a valid ccard - I deleted an old one on Sat but the one left is valid so don't know what is going on. Have emailed them.
- watched a squirrel on the birdfeeder. Bless him, he's a few nuts short of a drey. Life seems to confuse him - I told him last year when he buried his nuts in the grass he'd never find them again (he didn't seem to pace out his steps from the big tree before starting to dig). Sure enough come winter he was walking about scratching his head. Guess I'll be feeding him again this year
- looked up some low fat beef stew recipes, about to put one on now.
- got very bored, as you can probably tell......A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

 nipped out to supermarket & got absolutely soaked
 found some money off coupons - mostly out of date
In future will transfer money to mortgage account when I RECEIVE coupons not when I redeem themA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Read earlier someone say they often read their diary so thought I'd have a look at my old posts, gosh that was interesting
, got as far as 18 months ago (well, actually I've read 3 months worth, what a load of drivel
. What was interesting was these 2 posts:
As a matter of interest, my 3 interest rates are 3.74% (48.5k), 3.99% (71.4k) and 4.24% (42.5k). Gotta love trackers :happyhear.Came home all excited to update spreadsheets with latest interest rate cut. Our 3 interest rates are now 2.74%, 2.99% and 3.24% :j.
Our rates are currently 1.24%, 1.49% & 1.74% :T. Really am falling asleep, must print out diary & use as bedtime reading :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Well, have got up to end of 2009 in rereading my diary
. Some random thoughts -
New PJ's arrived & v cosy
This was the La Senza special offer. So flaming cold I'm wearing them at the mo
Have opened SIPP at HL as have around 10k in frozen moneypurchase scheme. Now, do I put the money in same accounts as OH or do I do proper research this time :rotfl:
Well, OH had last laugh as his have gone up loads and mine are still down - I transferred at top of market and still think I'm better off than leaving where they were.Just checked and only 1 in the black :rotfl:
Then accidentally found myself in Alexon & spent £205
In my defence I did have £35 worth of vouchers
But the £205 was after knocking those off
I got: 2 x trousers, dress, cardi & 4 tops, all in sale & at least 1/2 price reduction, so over £500 of stuff I reckon & I have never, never, ever spent that much in one go before. However, I really do not have many smart clothes for work & end up slobbing around at the weekend also, and these all fit really well so I don't care
Em, I do care now as only 1 cardi still fits me :eek:Cute little Joe won the X FactorCheryl might love him as a brother but bet he doesn't love her like a sister :rotfl:
Em, turns out he did love her as a sister after all :rotfl:
I also tried to quote a load more but there's obviously a limit. What I did realise though was that I miss Stuart - hope he's okA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Aw are you feeling down TPA?
One of the threads which didn't come out when I tried to multi-quote was when we had competitive tomato growing last year :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I like looking back at mine as day to day it feels like i am going nowhere with all my penny pinching, but over a year, it has had such a good effect. Also, i was in the throws of depression, so it is good to look back and see healthwise my improvements.
We have had some good and bad points, so no harm reminiscing.
It will be better to look back when we are all paid up.0
