Up to £28.48 on bids on ebay
SRBS haven't replied to my letterso will ring them tomorrow and get details so I can make OP's online. I have over 1k to send to them and want to start making inroads
Door man has been round and measured, left me with brochure & I've narrowed it down to 3. Click on Adobe symbol for brochure. Page 13 Colne Sandblasted Star or Bluntisham Sandblasted House Number, or Page 5 Papworth Bevelled Blue Silhouette. Probably the Colne, with chrome fittings - very simple & classy, just like me (well, the former is, if not the latter). Bog standard 1/2 glass back door. Waiting to get prices including fitting now
zzzzz time.

Loving the house pic!
Ebay sounds like it is going well, hope you have a sudden surge of bids instead of just watchers - no fun when Ebay teases you!
Yay to OH wanting to make payments, DH still thinks I'm a bit nuts!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Ooh, I love the house picture, must be fun colouring in the squares - I think I may have to create one of my own - I love stuff like that!
How did you make it? I am not very good on computers....!Mort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.100 -
Babyb it's on excel and very basic - the difficult thing was working out how many rows etc. I just played around, changing the colour of cells to indicate the house, windows and door and roof, then put a border round it. Every square is a thousand pounds and I started at the bottom on the steps and have worked up. Every time it drops another thousand I change the colour of a brick and write in the month. Looking forward to getting to the top of the chimney, then putting some fireworks up it
Well, around £175 raised on ebay, which is great, but postage is over £40 . I sold some sweatshirts, trousers & jackets all of which were heavy. Also sold a book on Amazon. Paid for the postage on the Royal Mail website, which is quite easy to use but could be very easy with a few tweaks. Over £32 in postage paid for so far, waiting on 6 items to be paid. Have withdrawn £125 and should get another £50 later in week. After knocking off the postage the balance will go to new mortgage :T.
I have a few other things to list but they will have to wait a few weeks, too busy/tired tonight, busy during the week and an helping DD move weekend after next so don't want to list next weekend.
OH is looking at buying a car and may need to dip into offset for a month or so. Eek .
Off to see Michael Buble tomorrow night, need to get up at 5.15am so can leave at 6, pick up friend at 7.30, work for 7.45, breakfast at desk, start at 8, lunch 12, run down to PO with parcels, back at work 12.30, finish at 4, get changed and go. I may just let her go and I'll have a kip in the car after all that :rotfl:
Now need (once I catch up on here obviously) to pack for tomorrow, put parcels in car, clean kitchen after dinner, prepare Tues night dinner, prepare tomorrow & Tues lunch, iron something I washed prior to sticking on ebay, load & set dishwasher. EtcA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
