Thanks for the above folks. May sound strange, but have never had to buy a washing machine before, so it will be a new mini adventure! Will take your advice and see if I can get a good deal. Just a quick one as I am off to bed in a strop!
I'm becoming quited annoyed with the world it seems..myself included! I didn't get a chance to look at washer/dryers as I had more important things to do, like drink wine and eat food! My cheap November seems to be becoming the most expensive month of the year...
I thought I could have an early night last night and a lie in today, but couldn't sleep because I had a couple of glasses of wine in the pub and there is something in it which keeps me awake. Grrr....
An d it seems like I have been burgled for the second time this year. They are very tidy thieves and don't make a mess...but this means you don't notice anyone has been in your house (again!). Hey ho!
Hope everyone else is fine. I'm going to stop moaning now...sorry..:oMBNA - [STRIKE]£7068.60 [/STRIKE] £7060.00 Egg - 1422.35 A&L - [STRIKE]£249.32[/STRIKE] £215.00Loan - £13279.50 :rolleyes:0 -
Really sorry to hear about the theft; how are they gaining entry?
Hope you get a better night.0 -

Rats - scum bags :mad:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Oh dear - what a nightmare. I think most of us would feel that being burgled would be one of our worst nightmares - for it to happen twice....ugh. Hope you're able to get things sorted out.
With regard to your washing machine, both Comet and Curry's have online auction sites these days - could be worth keeping your eyes on those. We're in the throes of looking for a freezer at the moment - it feels like an endless task and I'm convinced even once we've chosen we'll still find ourselves agonising over whether we've made the right choice or not! Good luck with your looking anyway.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi there!
Well, I have decided to rejoin the wonderful world of MFW! :T
Thanks to everyone who sent me lovely messages after my flat was burgled - sorry I didn't reply and say thanks.
Right ho! A short update, then I'm off to be more thorough (scary! ). Due to a few 'unfortunate' incidents, I'm skint (not a good thing, but I'm over the being depressed feeling!), so I have little savings and a credit card which needs dealing with, as well as the mortgage...any get rich quick schemes or psychics with the winning lotto numbers, would be most grateful!!!!:D
Good news - got a washing machine for the price of 2 theatre tickets, sadly my tap is now leaking!
Anyway...hope you are all well. I have enjoyed catching up with your diaries.
Speak to you all soon. xMBNA - [STRIKE]£7068.60 [/STRIKE] £7060.00 Egg - 1422.35 A&L - [STRIKE]£249.32[/STRIKE] £215.00Loan - £13279.50 :rolleyes:0 -
