Ha, nice one. My immediate thought was - could you e-bay it to make some profit, or are you intending to keep it?

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Can I ask what you ladies keep in your handbags?
As far as I can see as long as you have enough pockets for tissues, lipsyl and your mobile and keys.
I hate handbags with a passion!
I do have a little rucksack for work to carry my paperwork around in.
Anyway, had a further discussion with SIL about Christmas.
We've both been saying about how it is too much year on year and that it's not what Christmas is about.
We're fed up of getting and giving tat. It just causes discomfort in the lives of people who are busy anyway. So we decided to just do cash.
Last night I said why not just leave it? Then neither of us has to have the cash directly available to give and it saves a bit of stress.
So that's £40 saved.
Think I will be ringing around DH's friends now and saying we don't want adult pressies this year. We're all on budgets so may as well stick with buying our own family something decent.
DH nearly got a beating when he suggested that Iron man DVD would be a stocking filler for DS. I don't blinking think so!

I hate handbags too, but I have noticed that women's clothes tend to have no pockets or just fashion pockets. e.g. trousers where you can get your fingers in the pocket but not the palm of your hand. I think also, with women having hips, when they sit down items in trouser pockets are more likely to be pushed outwards, and more likely to fall out.
In jackets, women don't have that nifty large inside pocket men have either.0 -

Financial Bliss.
First of all...I couldn't possibly sell my fancy new bag to make a profit - it's far too pretty!:D
Second of all...Surely a girl would need as many handbags as shoes - as many as she can possibly squeeze into her house without blocking any fire exits:rotfl:
Kaz - I keep lots of 'necessary' things in my bag; umberella, chocolate, purse, chocolate, keys, chocolate, phone, organiser, chocolate, chocolate, and if I have some room - chocolate.;)
Also, good work on the figures! Yo are doing a cracking job!:T

FB, this is a question you can only ask in a forum; please note the health warning associated with such a question to any lady up close (ie striking distance!)financialbliss wrote: »Exactly how many handbags does a girl need...?:rotfl:Financial Bliss.
It is important to recognise that men have need for women to carry handbags, for those bulky things which ruin the lines of our well tailored suits etc afterall I don't want to carry bottles of water in my coat etc...PasturesNew wrote: »I hate handbags too, but I have noticed that women's clothes tend to have no pockets or just fashion pockets. e.g. trousers where you can get your fingers in the pocket but not the palm of your hand. Let them have the perception it is their "want" just make sure the bags they choose are big enough to be useful for us chaps to dump things in...
