:T good on you BB. A wider skill set can be far more valuable than a whole group who are just good at one thing - management. It's the admins and PAs of the world that actually make things happen!0

well, it was good to put my 'managers hat' back on, it felt good, albeit it was a bit dusty after being locked away for the last 15 or so months!. In a group of just PR Managers I just used to sit there in old jobs and not feel I was good enough to say clever management speak stuff, but within a group of people who are academic/curriculum type managers I knew that they couldn't say 'that isn't right' - because they don't know!
Have to say though - this is how my brain now feels
it's a long time since I've stretched the old grey matter!! :rotfl:

Way to go BB! Its great to see you coming out of your shell a little bit:beer: how did the drive go;) .
I am finally starting to feel a little bit better.....at least I seem to be coming out of my depressive vegetative state...hopefully I will be fully back to my old self again after a good nights sleep.

I love that loldog, that's exactly how those meetings make me feel.
I have a very important one on Friday with someone in government speaking :eek:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
drive was actually ok sammy. I tried to be clever and tried to blag a lift but it backfired and was just told - why don't you follow me? But he went a different route to the one I planned - on some dual carriageway!! (for oooh, about a mile?
) but it was quiet and then I did the route back I'd planned. Just 1 really weird dodgy turning I knew about 2 way traffic going into 1 way and you have to turn right into the middle of it, but I did it :T
Just had a bit of a palaver - forgot to get Parsley for tomorrow night so went to little Asda and it is shut for 3 days! So drove to big Teso (along a road I don't normally go along
) and got my parsley........not quite sure how it came to £34....... .......
I got some freeze gel for the top of my foot as it's no better. It's a week now it's been painful after walking on it for a few minutes and pain killers and anti-inflammatories aren't killing it so I'm trying the gel to see if I can freeze the area. Got some on now so if it works I know I can get through 2 hours of standing tomorrow night. I've broken my other foot 3 times over the years and it kind of feels a bit like that, so I'm wondering if I've just snapped one of the tiny bones on the top of my foot by over stretching a muscle or tendon.

Evening all,
Well, work was open this morning-no sign on the door saying 'lock up behind you and put the keys thru the letter box' lol and we had a blinding day yesterday in store £19k! Woohoo!
I've put the heating on....
Maz-I somehow missed the whole ~Erin/school episode-you'll have to fill me in on the 17th.
Sammy, you are welcome to bring Chlo-moe if you want BUT, my house isnt very sound proof and the kids *may* not sleep thru the caterwauling that is us sing-starring, lol.
Well done BB on the drive and the personality shift-me thinks its time to get off thine rrse and apply for a job you are qualified to do and earn a decent wage without knackering oneself! And perhaps shift the 18 odd stone of dead weight out the door...(sorry-Aunt Flo is visiting and Im a wee bit fiesty today)
Cat-well done on the money-I daren't look at the bags...
DD-Im going to tell you to stop HATING money, if you do, it will never come to stay-instead, love it and it will want to stick around and be your friend.
Spud-I wish I could have done an IVA but we could have had a retainer placed on the house and they could have come after it even after the IVA was done...I will continue to pay my DMP for the next oh, 11 or so years? lolEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
