  • hi all... to update on the school saga... basically the Hmistress said that the one real incident at school was cause for concern, and would be monitoring closely, doing some work on friendships in the classroom, discussion groups etc, but the village thing sounds more serious so keep doing what we're doing i.e. occupy her time in non village activities, invite people to play as opposed to letting her out to play (we're lucky where we live school kids can play in village streets safely)

i cried but only once erin was out of the meeting, but my voice was shaky and i felt emotional throughout... after erin left the HM said to me "are you okay?", which is the worst thing you can say to a person on the verge of tears!!

I'm not sure it would have been as prodcutive a meeting if Big G hadn't came along, he was ace! but don't tell him i said that!!!

i think it will be okay

Glad you are feeling positive about it Maz - hopefully you've turned a corner now.

DD, my DS was sick a lot, whenever he got the cold and when he first started nursery he caught EVERYTHING! Gross bit coming up ...quite often he'd be sick which would get rid of a lot of mucus and then he'd feel much better. I shouldn't be surprised as any bug I get makes me throw up too.

Oh yes about five minutes after (when the crying stopped) he was as playful as anything and cheery like it had never happened!

If I honestly thought it was a bug I'd not even consider it - so fingers crossed that's it - he's been asleep in his cot (YES YES YES) for 90 minutes now :)

... and instead of enjoying quality time with OH I am on the internet

Might go to bed actually - alone! - so tired.
