DS has just been sick ALL over the place, himself and OH mainly (I had just handed him over!) - so I think that's me out of work for the rest of the week, I am pretty sure the nursery's policy is no admission for 48 hours afterwards. Which is really quite !!!! as I am sure it's not a bug, he has a stinking cold, was struggling to breathe through his nose, just had a load of milk and then... bleurgh.

I can only do so much work from home - stuff that is paper based - as IT haven't sorted me out with a login for home yet. So it will be UNPAID leave. Sucks.

Contemplating a soak in the bath to try and chill out but I know I will just sit there and worry about things.

DD - who's gonna tell them if Elliot was sick???? not like he's old enough to drop you in it!! if he perks up and is well enough, just take him.... explain to work that he wasn't 100% and that you half expect a call or an early finish to pick him up... and voila the best of both worlds, a half days work and a half days quality time with your boy if you fancy it!

LOL, I was wondering that too and then thought maybe I was a terrible mum - if I felt he was well enough to go in I'd just take him.:o

Thanks Maz and Skint, I will see how he is in the morning, have negotiated to work from home till 12 but was going to drop DS at nursery so I can work in peace! To be honest I am pretty sure it's not a bug, just (ugh) mucus related. Though it was actual sick (ugh) dinner and everything (ugh)

Don't talk about that at the ante-natals do they!
