£12 received from a mystery shop today, so I have transferred it out to the egg loan straight away. That balance is coming down slowly but surely!
Nothing else moneywise expected to report today though. Hope you all have a good one!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I haven't got TIME for a lurgy!!! Just can't fit it in my schedule
Thats an excellent guarantee of health!I have just typed up a page of brainstorming notes for my workshop - I feel a bit better now I have started.
Its amazing how it can come together once it started.Hope your lurgy either does something or not, if you know what I mean. Sometimes it is better to get it full on and out of the way, rather than rumbling along "threatening" and sapping your energy bit by bit!
Absolutely I know what you mean... its a *little* bit worse this morning, but I'd really rather have a short sharp shock over the weekend, exactly to get it out of the way.... we'll see.I am taking my hot water bottle (for my neck and shoulder) to bed now.......sleep well x
Awww.... I hope it didn't stop you sleeping.
Just seen your note about the £12 payment off the egg loan. Thats great! Its coming down so fast now - excellent news. I'll pop off and check mine, should be a couple of payments from gfk.
Have a good one - I'm off to London today, so won't be on here.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

It is very interesting to see the break neck speed of how that happens!
I'm currently deciding whether being holed up in a pub on the 'free' wi-fi is a good use of my time! The beer is helping my decision! It's also interesting as it's a Walkabout in Covent Garden and the bar manager is playing some golf game on the X-Box 360!
Shows how busy London is at the minute!  :beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
hmm, Walshy - sounds like a very productive day :rotfl:
I have been for a 5 mile run with P, and have finally bashed out something resembling enough waffle to get me through the class tomorrow. I have run out of printer ink, so can't print my notes off, so will have to take the laptop and work from that instead. Not perfect, but better than having a set of notes so faint that they cannot be read, I suppose!
Now heading off for an early night, once I have done the dishwasher etc. I hope you have all had a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Don't forget to take the laptop charger -   if you ran out of battery half-way through!
Hope the neck sorts itself out. Mine's still bugging me and I'm just about at the limit of chiropractic fees that HSA will pay out!0 -

Good point re the charger!! I will make myself a note!
The neck, bizarrely, doesn't hurt as much when I am running - or perhaps the rest of my body ends up in a similar amount of pain, so the neck becomes un-noticeable! But when I get home, it is agony! I have some new tablets which are making a bit of a difference, but which are playing havoc with my stomach. Can't bloomin win!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
