It is blustery here, which makes running difficult, but it is dry so far. I did 3.8 miles - it was hard work, but I am glad I went out and did it.

Just off for a shower, and then I need to think of another excuse to avoid housework

I am quite pleased with the running progress - I just need to keep it up, and find an extra 20 or so miles in the tank!!

Housework - have made a start. things look a little better than they did earlier. We will do "advert" tidies for the rest of the evening - short sharp blitzes.

I checked my online electricity/gas statement that arrived today - I am now in credit by £166, so that shows that we are keeping our usage quite reasonable. I don't yet know whether to leave the surplus in there to cover the winter period, or to withdraw £100 of it, pay it to the egg loan, and to colour in another couple of squares

My electric is in credit to 155.00 at the moment too, and I was wondering the same thing ... I think I'll leave mine a little longer as the fixed rate I was on runs out next week so I need to check what it will shoot up to  I may look at changing supplier again too, does anyone know how often you can do that?? I have been with scottishpower for just over a year now :D

I think that after a year you would be able to switch without any problems. Why not start looking now - and of course remember to go through quidco!! I am on a capped rate with E.on so hopefully when prices come down, we will be in even more credit and I can then reduce my monthly payment. I am really pleased that our credit is building up again, because last time we got a bill, I reduced it by about £30 a month - so to still be building up a credit is quite positive!

Just checked the comparison sites, and the best one was my bills going up by 132.00 per year    Even if I stay with scottish power it will go up by 140.00   I guess that decides for me what to do with the money in credit
