mudbath, that is a good idea paying "food money" to the CC.

I only lost a lb and a half.....was a little disappointed but not surprised because I stepped on my home scales for a sneaky peek this morning. I am glad I did, as it prepared me for the poor performance. Must do better next week. All I can say is thank goodness I have been running, because without that, I would have probably gained, if I have only lost a tiny bit after running 5 times this week!

So, for the record, current weight 11 stone 3.5 lbs. Lost so far 1.5lbs :o

Well done Hypno that's a good loss :T

Looking at your weight you don't have much to lose (braver than me posting that lol) so you won't lose big numbers.

You should do your measurements too as I bet with all this running what the scales don't show the tape measure will.

Oh, measurements are a good idea - with the running, you might *not* lose that much weight - you'll be turning fat to muscle, which weighs more. Your measurements might be going down comparatively more than 1.5lbs would indicate.....

Surfbabe, I am sorry to read you are still suffering, and well done to DD on the driving test :T :T :T

Re the "measurements vs weight loss", I have a particular skirt that I am using as a measurement of progress, rather than a tape-measure.....I am hoping this skirt will fit me beautifully in a few weeks rather than fitting me badly, like it does now!

I have been for my run - 3.8 miles. Surprisingly my shoulder and neck were less painful when I was running than they have been for the last couple of days, so that was good. I thoroughly enjoyed the run - it is a lovely evening out there, and it was good to blow the cobwebs away.

Hope you are all having a good evening x

That's a brilliant run Hypno, well done!

I walked for 2 hours today (first with Puppy, then with elderly dog, then with neighbours dog!) - that's the closest i'll get to running i'm afraid!

Surfbabe - get well soon and well done to your DD xx

mudbath, 2 hours walking is a fantastic amount! You don't need to run if you are walking THAT much!!
