I had a "sports" injury, in that as I jumped off the bench in the changing room there was a cracking noise. GP mis-diagnosed it as my gastroc nemeus and suggested rest. Luckily I took advice and a recommendation to see a physio who specializes in sports injuries who found the spot (soleus). Ouch. But if I'd left it I'd have had scarring apparently whereas his manipulation sorted it out in two sessions.

Do you know any physios you could ask advice from?

There are no physios in my address book to call on, but I will be getting it sorted for sure! I have a heat pad on it now which is easing it.....and have taken a good number of painkillers today :o

I also have chocolate - it is making all the difference :D

  • the amount of calories in chocolate depends on 2 things. If it is a wrapper and has cals written on it then you have to count the cals. If someone gives you a bit then there are no calories on it so of course it has no calories. This works for cakes from bakers too. Ready wrapped ones form supermarket have calories as it says it on the packet but the bakers doesn't hence no calories. Great huh!

Hope you're feeling ok Hypno - the old injury sounds sore and annoying. I didn't declutter over the weekend because I went away but i'm going to do double this week and next because the children are going away with DH to MILs for a week (I can't go because of new puppy:rotfl: ). Now remind me, is it 10 a day and double at weekends....my memory is carp!!!! xx

If in doubt cut in half. Then it has only 1/2 the calories. So obviously you can eat twice as much :EasterBun
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
