I'm a fellow Woolies ex-employee too, our store took more money that any in the country but Tesco put up a huge amount of money for the land so it got sold off :(
We got an amazing redundancy package though so hopefully the current staff will too.

Gemmz, they were pretty good at looking after their employees when I was there, I have to say. End of an era!

I will go and check for my Amazon voucher and will alert OH and DD to keep an eye out for theirs!

I feel a bit better - have dosed up with beechams, echinacea and orange juice. (and had a double strength latte and a big fat blueberry muffin)

I finished my reviews on the Monday I think, so I was quite early on. DD finished hers later in the week and OH didn't finish his until this week so I don't know when they will receive theirs.......hopefully not too long, but they certainly seem to be getting them out fairly quickly - all credit to qype :T

Definitely. Need to make sure we all keep supporting them and don't just dump them like a hot brick now we've got our vouchers (plus there may be more goodies in store in the future).

In case you missed my previous post - check the expiry date on your voucher, some people have been given ones that expire today. Mine's fine.

Mine's fine too - I will def keep my hand in with qype so to speak......apart from anything else, I have yet to receive my ipod and ninja (obviously I am more looking forward to the ninja than the ipod.....) and if they do any more offers/challenges etc, then I want a piece of that!!!

Yep, its only fair for something like that. I just did two reviews this morning. Aside from anything else, it could well be useful, its a proper website.

And if anyone ever needs to know all about the parking arrangements at every Post Office in Doncaster, or which TK Maxx has a mezzanine floor in it then the info's there for the taking!

    I have made progress:

I took my credit score today - to see if Egg (gits) have made any sort of negative comment on my file. Thankfully they haven't.

Anyway. My score just after I joined this site - 6.1.07 was 616
    8.3.07 it was 613

Both these were marked as "poor" with only 10% of the population in a worse state than us :o

A year later, in March 08 I took the score again, when applying for the job I have now, just to see what my new employers might see. It was 762 - "Fair" which was a big difference.

So imagine my shock when I take the score today and see that I have a credit score of 999 - "Excellent" - low risk to lenders etc etc :T

So go suck on that one EGG!

I have printed off the score and will frame it next to my picture of :money: (well, not really, but that is how it makes me feel :D )

Will check OH's later - he should be in a similar position, although I think he was a couple of days late with a CC payment earlier in the year which may well have an effect.
