OH and DD have both got their Amazon vouchers too :T Everyone is now busy trawling Amazon's website as we have agreed that we can each spend them on a treat rather than buy Christmas presents etc for other people.

whatatwit, it was dmv who alerted us to qype.......so a very very big thankyou to dmv :T

And no, I never did think I would see the day when I got wine from a lender, KM!!!! Wonders will never cease!

Evening Hypno and all hope we have all had a good day.

Well done on the Amazon vouchers, sounds like I missed out on something big time. Don't blame you for treating yourselves either.

I too have surcombed to a sore throat this morning. Lost my voice by this afternoon!. Had a positive result on the Credit Report, it said I had a score of 870! Thats a laugh as I was only made Bankrupt 18 months ago!! They dont seem to have any record on the score of my bankruptcy??? So how does that work. Mind you the Self Assessment bill I got yesterday about 2005/2006 non payments etc arrived yesterday and after a few phone calls, they were also not aware of my bankruptcy, even though it was HMCustoms that bankrupt me in the first place. The man on the phone today said that it doesnt talk to the otehr departments!! So thats a total debacle to me!!
Work has summonsed me to a meeting a week on Wednesday at 10am to see where I am health wise and my plans to return to work.....never????
Never really been a Woolies fan as I used to always get an electric shock off of the babies prams everytime I went in!! So never really bothered.
Re the challenges to clear off 30K of Debt. I wish you well, and everyone else in a similar Challenge. Never ever earned that much never mind be able to pay it off.!!!

  • A case of wine, wow good result..have they sent a letter of apology with it too?

Mooloo, the challenge only has a little to do with how much you earn - the majority of it is about being focused about the things you want in life and working out how to get them, before finally being determined to do them! It is only in the last 6 months that I have earned that much. But that didn't stop me doing these challenges when I didn't have much, or at some times, ANY income coming in.....that is when I used these boards to their full - discovering all the glitches, and schemes available to bump up my income etc etc etc. If you put your mind to it and want to take part, you could set yourself a savings target and with a little determination and the ideas on these boards you could reach it!

I don't know how your credit score doesn't include the fact that you are bankrupt though - that is a complete mystery!

    KC - ye gods indeed!

Didn't they give away wine a few years back when you opened a savings account? Wonder if they have a contract. Nice freebie though :D
