So what good is a 2.5% reduction in VAT going to do the economy, if even cheap stores like Woolies are going bust

its risiculous isn't it. its sad to see british institutions like woolies going down the pan. but i think woolies has been far to diverse in its stock for the last couple of years, selling some of everything but not enough of somethings if that makes sense. It should all be pulled back to what they were good at.
