Good luck on your weight quest, I lost 3 1/2 stone a couple of years ago and know exactly how difficult it is to keep it off!
I have a rescue tabby too- she's blind in one eye but gorgeous.

Yes and he is a very nice distraction if I am completely honest!
And very good about taking me out and letting me pay for the cheap things, like the odd drink while he pays for everything else. I think it's dinner on me when I have a new job!
But I like this stage as there is so much possibily, we'll have to see how things go!
