#3 MAD ebay challange aim £500 so far £390.17 :j0 -
I used one of these once, good idea... I used to put away £1 and once filled & counted there was just over £100! You never miss the odd pound... but the joy at spending the £100 was worth it. If you can, get someone to solder the can once opened so you can re-use it & start the saving scheme again!0

hi all,
I've got a huge plastic bottle, full of pennies and 2p and 5p coins, that I've been collecting/storing for the past 8 years. I think it's about time I cashed it all in. But where? Where can I do this? What do I need to do?
I remember when i went to the USA in the summer, they had coin machines in supermarkets, and people could drop all their coins into it, and it printed out a receipt, which you then took to the til, to cash in. It would be good if we had something like that here too.0 -
Most Asdas have them - but you have to spend the voucher they spit out in Asda that day I think. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0

^check if it takes a percentage a lot of them do,
someone said HSBC have the same machines, and they dont take a percentage and will pay it into your account if you have oneYes Your Dukeiness0 -
A lot of Sainsburys and Tescos have them. They are called Coinstar and take about 7% off the value. I think you can choose to either donate to charity or get a receipt for either money off instore or exchange for cash.0
