Just bought the kids a Wii with 2 of everything, two wheels, two controllers etc and 3 games for £255 from a deal we saw in town, now we are going to be proper skint this month:rotfl: no Wii fits but he did take my name down and will ring if he gets any in, tomorrow is half hour talk with the job centre to see which job to take so hopefully that will lead to a job with money coming in, just making lists (lists are me:D ) of xmas expenses what we have spent, how to cut corners, etc OH has forgone his xmas presents because of the Wii which I think is very honourable, I am a bit too childish and me me me to completely say No to any presents:rolleyes: I just hope the kids appreciate the sacrifice, that was the only way we could have done it, stay in from now to xmas, no presents for anyone else but hopefully some happy kids:D

So...... is this the place to come to chat about losing weight after letting things slip for a while?0
-
Ajax :hello: absolutely, although weight loss is often the least talked about thing. Trees, dog sick, swap boxes, Raph in short skirts, shopping, Wii's get a mention though.
We're all suffering from slippage at the moment - I went to BK for lunch with OH today

sorry ajax, couldn't quite hear you there; too wrapped up in the lashings of toast & butter /biscuits/hot cross buns I'm troughing my way though. Something about weight loss and slipping...?
Chomp, slurp, yup, this is the placeI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
BB, I can't buy hot cross buns - I love them toasted with lots of dripping butter
They would last no time at all.

Some things never change, eh folks?
I've had something of an epiphany.... I believe that over on the DFW thread they call it a "lightbulb moment"?0 -
Hi all, comisserations to all the gainers. An epiphany sounds good Ajax, but does it have sugar and fat in it?!
Does make me feel I can post too though. I've fallen off the wagon big time here, to the tune of buttery crumpets, beer, crisps, chocolate...you get the picture. I've been too embarrassed to post about it, and am dreading weigh in on Weds.
So if anyone has any magic will-power medicine, feel free to share:DAnytime;)0 -

FFM - you are sooo wise. Asda were selling 12 for £1...and the butter was supposed to be for making cakes for my OH which I don't like. Sigh. They were yum though:D . Currently chomping on raw swede:A
Welcome back to the fold ajax: I would slaughter a fatted calf but perhaps that would be inappropriate. Consider the couccous coused.
Hi Seren.
