nice hotel. Buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners, which it would have been churlish not to eat (and eat, and eat, and eat) and drinks all day. Just had to try all the different cocktails avaialble on the all inclusive deal
.... didn't get to try an epiphany though.

That's just selfish BB, I would never consider not sharing the will-power secret:p! Raw swede is a good idea though, I love that stuff but tend to forget it exists.
Sadly I have to report that after the swede moment, my OH returned from a visit to his parents loaded with LOOK AWAY NOW jammy donuts. Day one tomorrow me thinks:o
Love the swimming smilie granny and glad you had a good time.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Hi everyone,
Just catching up - welcome back ajax, not so sure about that ephiphany thing - did it hurt:p ? Also welcome back grannynise ,glad you had lots of sun, surf and cocktails in Cyprus. I'm only jealous.:D
Have to say, all this talk about winter comfort foods and how we're just not resisting them right now is making me think that we should change the name of the thread from I wanna lose weight to either
I wanna gastric band or, I wanna wire for my jaw?:rotfl:

A quick update on me if you want to hear, read onto the next post if you dont. Still having ups and downs (or demented days). have very little contact with the ex which suits me. He picks ds up at school one day a week, keeps him overnight and leaves him back the next afternoon. Probably suits him too to be honest. Ask me if I care?
Was attempting to buy him out but wasn't comfortable with the repayments I'd have to make. It would leave no wiggle room whatsoever for fun and I'll be blowed if I'm going to pauper myself and struggle to do fun stuff with DS so that the FFA can go off on his jollies. So the house is on the market - at a bargain £125k. Sign went up tonight, was sad but the decision is as much mine so just need to look forward from now on.
Congrats to anyone who's lost or STS this week since we're all struggling. I'm back to my work after 8 weeks off on Wednesday so here's hoping next week will see an improvement in my eating/exercising habits.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
