So if anyone has any magic will-power medicine, feel free to share:D
It's not really 'will-power', but, in line with the Grocery Challenge - you could make a meal plan for the week, your shopping list based on the meal plan and stick to your list when out shopping. Do not buy anything not on the list.
Hopefully, then the 'little extras' won't find their way into your house in the first place and then can't find their way into your tum.
Good for the purse/pocket as well as the waistline.
My current problem is all the left overs from the kids sleepovers. I'm currently munching on the Tesco Value nibbles - very nice, 115 cals per 25g. I have weighed out the portion I have in front of me, but last night I had the whole pack beside me whilst watching the TV - got through quite a bit

I only like epiphanies with an extra shot..... welcome back Ajax!! lol
Well - talking about slipping - we have just finished the 4 bags of mini mars/milkyways/twix/bounties that OH bought for trick or treaters of which we had 4...... I bought stuff we didn't like last year, but he forgot this year!!!
The chocolate gave me a thumping headache as always but it sadly didn't stop me!
Our new small dog, Tod, is wandering around waiting for OH who is on a conference call in the office (technology!) and I trotted through saying 'starving dog - sorry' not realising they could all hear! Hey ho!
We are having a posh square pie for tea, one between two as I checked the calories and it is 800 per pie - the second went back onto the fridge! I'm doing loads of veg and some gravy so it will be a nice winter comfort tea with a lot less calories! and the same tea later in the week so money saving too.....
Sent my swap box which isn't in a box last week!

Hello I'm back! Cyprus was great, superb weather,
nice hotel. Buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners, which it would have been churlish not to eat (and eat, and eat, and eat) and drinks all day. Just had to try all the different cocktails avaialble on the all inclusive deal
.... didn't get to try an epiphany though.
I swam between 1 km and 1.5 km every daybut suspect that it wasn't nearly enough to compensate for the excessive eating and drinking.
Of course the sun tan weighs very heavy.;)
Have enjoyed catching up on the thread ... rabbit story, the return of Ajax, chocolate baobab trees, weary loos and the occasional mention of weight loss.0 -
Life is stressful here & I have been on a mega choccie eating binge for the last week or so.Sigh.
Anyone want a Kevin the teenager?
Reduced to a good home!

I know, I know, FFM. I do all that and we eat seriously healthy main meals, but come evening it's the local shops that are open until late, selling crisps, etc. that get me:rolleyes:. Wish I knew the answer, I have to do about it something soon:o
That's just selfish BB, I would never consider not sharing the will-power secret:p! Raw swede is a good idea though, I love that stuff but tend to forget it exists.
Enjoy the wii victory, they are brilliant, much better than any pressie! We have 2 of each controller too, soo worth it. I know how you feel about the gain:o
Welcome back grannynise, glad you had a good time, all the swimming sounds fab!
Choccie binges are tough beanielou, hopefully it's passed now;) I'll stick with my own kevin thanks, at least they're good at absorbing the leftover halloween sweets!Anytime;)0 -

Yeah, I know, it's so much easier to say than to do. A definite case of do 'as I say' not 'as I do'.
We probably all need a slice of Ajax's epiphany, toasted with butter?
